But, ONLY together. And therein lies the crux of the problem. Money divides us all. Basically forcing all of us to put ourselves first, regardless of the consequences of that paradigm. We can come back together... but not while money still exists. Which is only one reason we should end the monetary system entirely and permanently. Just be done with this mechanism of mass control. And, in doing so, we gain some much needed freedom of choice instead of the illusion of choice we have now. Basically, we need to change the incentive to change the behavior that results. This is the world we get when money is the primary incentive for everyone. Look around... does this seem to be working for the majority of people that inhabit this planet? Or only just a few individuals? End money, adopt a natural resource based economy instead, and finally move forward.

Agreed. I've been against "aid" for a very long time especially as I've noticed that "aid" to my parent's country (Pakistan) just meant UK, US and now Chinese businesses popping up everywhere. That's not helping. That's exploitation . The institutions that say "mining provides jobs" make it sound amazing. Rubber production also provided jobs and that was brutal. Most of our clothes are still produced by slaves. Under formal colonialism, it also provided "jobs" and it made the country "develop" albeit for the sake of the global north.

I presented a paper in 2002 in Uni about NAFTA with regards to Canada (where I was studying at the time), and how negotiations and arbitrations were not conducted in good faith, plus the personal conflict of interest the chief US negotiator had during those negotiations. If you think of the word "service," these guys deserve more thanks than the soldiery because they don't have guaranteed pay from the government, while soldiers do. Often these guys are working with no promise of pay or prestige (most of them have to beg donations), so they are truly serving/being servants, whereas military personnel enter a mutually beneficial agreement with their governments.

The whole point is for money to be the middleman in transactions so each side can go and get what they want instead of needing to wait for someone who's not only interested in what you're selling, but they also have what you want and are willing to part with it for a price you both agree on. The rich will still possess way more capital than the vast majority of people. It would just make transactions more difficult. Besides, what if you live in a desert? Are you just supposed to be poor? Shit i was going to say something else important and then i walked into another room and my whole brain is just blank now. Oh yes i was going to say theres all sorts of small grants for things in ireland and the posh people always get it. Tli sat in on a meeting once and they said oh we will do this in irish and then we can get the grant for irish language too. We dont even have a playground here or speed bumps or a bus that allows people to get to town to work at 9am... the money is just given and then along the way doesnt get to the people. I joined a community theater group and they wouldnt advertise to the poor area who actually the young people would be the target of these youth community drama grants but they didnt want that they wanted to keep among themselves and go to idinburough for the festival. They get all sorts of grants to do education development and they fly away to meet in bulgaria and shit. Basically funding their own holidays. And people dont seem to be bad people but they have no sense of conscience about doing all that.

Under the Energy Charter Treaty Ireland is currently being sued by Lansdowne Oil Gas and Barryroe Offshore Energy because the government has withdrawn permission to drill for more fossil fuels in order to meet CO2 emissions targets. Ironically Ireland's governing 'intelligencia' strongly support the EU trade agreement known as CETA(Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement) that was drawn up with Canada. Due to action taken by the Belgian government there was a ruling in the ECJ that this agreement required ratification by all EU member parliaments. Thankfully this was the case otherwise the ratification by the EU Parliament alone would have given authority to apply this agreement in full. Approximately 80% of this agreement is in operation, all member state parliaments need to fully ratify it before it is fully implemented. About a dozen EU members have yet to ratify it and Ireland is one of those. The Irish government wanted to simply push this through and rubber stamp it but it was challenged through Ireland's Supreme Court where it was judged that the special courts in this agreement undermined the sovereignty of Ireland's judicial authority. These private corporate courts called the Investor Court System(ICS) were lauded as being far superior to the ISDS courts and due to this the CETA agreement was promoted and marketed as a better replacement for the ISDS courts. The hope in Ireland now is to block this CETA agreement and this experience under the Energy Charter Treaty will bring the attention of the citizens of Ireland to the insidious predatory nature of these corporate agreements that line their pockets based on virtual estimations and so called loss of future earnings.

@@colinstephenson5386 there were many articles at the time and quite a movement against this TTIP trade agreement, a quick search has found this quote " the TTIP negotiations were launched in 2013 and ended without conclusion at the end of 2016. A council decision of 15th April 2019 states that the negotiating directors for the TTIP or obsolete and no longer relevant. According to a Politico in 2022 Brussels tells Sholtz not to revive ghost of TTIP. I hope that you find the information that you're looking for.
