Happy Halloween! 🎃 Just rewatched a Tim Burton classic to get into the spirit of the occasion 👻 (ok, so Halloween just finished but hey, better late than never right?)
Corpse Bride made me a fan of Tim Burton and it will probably be my forever fave of all his works. Love everything about this movie--- from the animation, to the characters, the plot, the dialogue, the portrayal of the living and the dead, the music (I could go on)♡
Emily's story is so tragic but yet, in a way, she was able to find her own happy ending by finding closure and peace. I stumbled upon a Corpse Bride song by the talented Trickywi who came up with original lyrics that I think perfectly capture Emily's story. I decided to cover it in commemoration of the film and the Halloween season!
