Not enough love here for the brilliant way Seth stumbled and got "flummoxed" for a second just so he could perfectly deadpan "We named her Mary-Kate." Seth is a genius with timing.

Andy Samberg is a true friend. If Corrections ever gets an Emmy, he should get one as part of the team.

In my opinion Covid has finely tuned Seth’s show into not only the best late night show but into a completely new level of excellence. Love corrections. Love Seth. Love the crew and staff.

Congratulations on your daughter! I'm sure your wife is relieved that you are filming in studio and not in the attic. To all those who make the show happen, thank you for all your hard work. Corrections is just one way that this show stands out from other late night ones. While there are other late night shows that I watch and enjoy, this one has a connection with the audience at home that the others just don't. As someone else mentioned, you all made the transition back to a studio audience seamlessly, never losing that connection to those at home. That just goes to show the quality of work done by the entire staff of professionals behind the show and, of course, Seth. Taking internet comments and critiques and using them to make Corrections was genius and brave, given how many people love to be trolls and spew hatred. However, true jackals are respective to the show and each other (as far as I have seen) and want to make sure that the show maintains its high level of quality. The Emmy nomination was well-deserved. To all the jackals - from those who comment regularly to those (like me) who make occasional comments - thank you for the knowledge you have shared. I have learned a lot from you and I appreciate that the conversations remain civil, something that rarely happens online. Jackals are proof that comment sections can have critiques and debates without getting ugly. I think having Corrections helps to keep that level of civility because jackals know maintaining a sense of decorum will help result in the corrected information being shared. If jackals were just trolls, nobody would benefit from their knowledge because the comment section would be a dumpster fire.

Seeing corrections lasting more than 15 minutes makes me so happy 🥰🥰

Rowers are very particular about this: "crew team" is redundant. The coxswain is a member of the crew. Just like Seth thanked his crew (rather than his crew team) at the end of the episode.

I’m honored that you wanted the jackals to be the first to know about your baby girl! Correction: In order to use a jeweler's loupe, you need to hold the loupe right next to your eye (you mimed a magnifying glass, a common mistake to make).

I had the same problem regarding criticism when giving your child a name. I chose to tell everyone that since my husband was German, we were planning on naming "it" either Rapunzel or Rumpelstiltskin that way when they got their real name at birth no one complained.

So thankful for CORRECTIONS. It makes everyone's lives better.

A few years ago my friend was sick and they thought at first he may have had a stroke. (He didn't.) But he asked what may have caused the stroke and my response was, "the coxswain". The neurologist didn't think that was funny. I thought it was my best joke.

Honestly, Corrections is what made me pay closer attention to Seth's humor. His ability to adapt to and build a rapport with the jackals is amazing, and now I'm as hooked as anyone roaming the streets for a baby carrot fix. Which means, naturally, I have to give a correction. Someone who you go to for a deal is a 'contact,' not a 'connect.' Happy Thanksgiving to Seth, the team, and all of the jackals. May we have even more to be thankful for next year.

This was absolutely phenomenal! Hilarious tomfoolery at its quintessential best! Seth’s voice and delivery captivate this set of ears, aurally inseminating my brain with pure electrifying joy! Mazel Tov on Adelaide, what first came to mind was Elliott Smith’s song Sweet Adelaide, which is absolutely beautiful. In this week's Corrections, moreso than in most weeks, Seth demonstrates that facet of professional comedy measured by *how many separate laughs* you can get out of the same joke. If you can get 19, er, 5... you're a pro.

it's both. Saying "Beetlejuice" three times BOTH summons and vanquishes him. Hence the scene at the end where he's putting zips and pieces on metal over Geena Davis's mouth when she starts saying it.

I used to work at a factory where they made Cheetos and technically, it is a sauce. More of a slurry really. While it is a powder, it is mixed in with oils from frying making a very very messy slurry that take 4 hours to clean. In summary, Seth was technically correct in calling it a sauce.

I just wanted to thank you--everyone at Light Night--for all the effort that goes into this gutsy & genius little segment. Every week, it brings me a little spark of much-needed joy. You have somehow taken the most irritating things about the internet (& people), & carefully transformed them back into my favorite things about the internet (& people).

The bit with the three calls to and from Andy Samsonite, complete with the Lonely Island ring tone, and then Seth completely losing it and cracking up at the end - pure jackal heaven! Thank you Seth, I'm a Kiwi and we don't do Thanksgiving but nonetheless I'm thankful for you and for Late Night and especially for Corrections. See me in a couple of weeks.

Corrects is the best segment in any late night show in a long time

Correction: The pilgrims did not have a long "boat ride." They had a long "ship ride." Even today, there are few boats capable of crossing the Atlantic. Congratulations on little Mary Kate Jackal! Added 12/2: I really don't like to do more than one correction a week, because it's embarrassing for everyone; but listening to this again, it should be noted that (if we're doing flubs) the female pilgrim was pronounced "pigram," and, more importantly, that WG Harding "had a malaprop that then..." should be "had had a malaprop...," which would be the past perfect or pluperfect tense, i.e., the past of the past. This is because Harding spoke the malaprop before it became accepted, yet the whole episode is in the past. I'm not really proud of these, but there's the truth and then everything else.

GOLD GOLD GOLD!!!! Even the new thumbnail photo reflects the relaxed, laughs-first essence of the show's new style. Such a happy show!!!

As a Canadian, I was thankful during our assigned time: last month. However, today I am still thankful that this segment exists. Thank you Seth and crew for turning a joke into a recurring segment and keeping it for us, the jackals.

That Lois Lane joke was brilliant, I appreciate that not everyone was going to get it but it was the highlight of this corrections for me.

Correction: During the coxswain bit there was an error. You don’t call it a “crew team”. You can call it a rowing team or simply a “crew”. “Rowing” and “crew” are in fact the same sport; the word “crew” is used by American schools and colleges to refer to the sport of rowing. The term comes from the nautical term for people who operate a boat-the term “crew team” is therefore redundant. Outside of the academic sphere, the sport is simply known as rowing.
