Nice Avi my dude! Legion of Superheroes for Life! That image flooded me with memories, I was a super DC comics Nerd in the 80’s. I also loved it when Geoff Johns linked the LOS timeline to current cannon, with Saturn Girl and Cosmic Lad, having all the memories of growing up with Superboy, but the Clark from that Reality does not have these memories, because in his timeline “superboy” was never a thing. I know, I know, super long way of commenting on your Avitar, and not even addressing your comments on Max the knife 🔪 and Mr. Myers. Be well.

@@kellyschriner6203 The term 'crescent' refers to the shape of the visible moon caused by light and shadow, and waxing or waning is essentially determined by which side of the moon the shadow falls on to create the crescent shape - basically, if Mac turns his head left or right, he's waxing or waning, respectively.

What I love about Corrections is I am blissfully ignorant to whether the 'Donk' statue was an improv and a legitimate realization it wasn't chocolate or pre-written. His genuine laughter makes me think the first one - his realization was hysterical.

@@RevVoice2 It was solid white chocolate. That’s why he had trouble biting through it. The cup and Frisbee were modeling chocolate which is soft. A person explained in the comments that their mom made the props. The pencils in the cup were also made of chocolate.

Episode 66 has my vote for our Emmy Nomination this year! It has everything; Christmas cheer, the denial of staff submissions, multiple Seth impressions, Mikey the Shoe and the Grinch, the Christmas gliss that turns everything on the desk into chocolate, Seths jacked pic of the Mike Scollins tank top, the story and first musical clip of the "Baze of Glory", a continuation of the pillow anvils, the beginning of the Mac Tonight fanmail, mentions of day drinking with Lizzo, another story abt the lovely Mrs. Meyers, Seth's secret Santa gift, chocolate mugs and props, and all the fits of giggles from Seth!

Just rewatched this for the poll as well. It's great--especially that ending that had me struggling to not laugh way too loudly in the middle of the night. But I fear it has TOO many inside jokes/continuations that are great for us dedicated jackals but maybe wouldn't go over well for the average Emmy voter. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@B I would have to disagree, Seth takes moments to explain who the writers, Shoemaker, and fans who send in art/fanmail are, so it IS more inclusive than most episodes. He explains who the key players are like Baze and Scollins, too. There's also mentions of popular artists like Lizzo that could relate to others more as well. Additionally, there's the overall arcing and more relatable theme of Christmas in the episode that would more likely resonate with emmy voters. I stand by my nomination. There won't be a completely cohesive or coherent #Corrections episode for strangers to entirely understand, and that's the beauty of #Corrections. #Jackaled #CrossJackaled

I feel like it’s important for everyone to know that someone occasionally breaks in to my apartment building, opens up everyone’s packages and takes what they want. My jackal mug had arrived while I was out of town and I received a notification about another robbery. I was so sad but there was a twist! The thief opened the box and then declined to take the mug. Apparently they didn’t want it nor understand it’s obviously massive resale value. They stole pretty much everything else in the package room, so pretty confusing!! Makes me love my mug so much more ❤❤❤

My worst personal experience of Bays (sp?) syndrome happened around this time of year a few years ago when my wife and I were in our early 50’s. She was was starting to complain about hot flashes. I started singing “here comes menopause, here comes menopause, right down menopause lane…”. It is surprising that I live to tell the tale.

The whole mummy was made out of white chocolate, but it was solid rather than hollow, so the foot was difficult to bite through. Source: my mom is the artist who made the chocolate recreations of Seth's desk items

Sweet lord, it's like a serial play that keeps getting better as it gets more self-referencial :D Truly unique, interactive, confessional multimedia concept that gets me every time. Some of my favorite content ever; also my window into US culture in all its carnevalistic complexity. The whole world is getting messy in similar worrying ways, the prevalence and meaning of which I recognize better partly thanks to the Late Night team -- I'm personally privileged to live in Finland in my circumstances, and I'm grateful for the real nuance and mad surrealism that Corrections and A Closer Look etc. offer me. Seth, I have a 4 year old....you know what kind of questions they ask, especially when playing a video game with them or during a movie. - He was the one that called you out, i just typed it. He says "DaDa, bowser is a little turtley, but he is more RAWRRR dragon. (He actually roared and pretended to shoot fire out his mouth) - Being an "Adult" is completely overrated - (EDIT) This semi-mention on corrections literally made my year, and the best xmas gift i have had since i was a kid. Is this our first official Corrections *segment?* There have certainly been regular Corrections bits, and beside the in-jokes with the crew there are many, many Corrections-only in-jokes as well. But I think this is our first proper SEGMENT. I'm going to regard this as Seth's wondrous Christmas gift to us all.

I have literally been telling everyone I know the Peanuts joke as if it was my brother on the plane. Every time, EVERY time, the listener says something about how great the music is, or how much they loved that cartoon. All the while, I’m trying to keep a straight face because every time, EVERY time, I tell the story I start smiling when I get to the part where the stewardess/flight attendant comes up to my brother to slam it shut. I’m the person who loves telling jokes but is really bad at telling them. As soon as I say, “Sir! Someone is deathly allergic to Peanuts” the response is always the same. A genuine look of disappointment and a courteous “oh yeah, I get it.” This just leads me to want to tell the story more. I don’t know if it’s because I’m looking for that one person who laughed as hard as I did when Seth told it or because I am genuinely enjoying their discomfort.

Notice how there was no "This has been" for "Seth explains late night slang". We are still in the segment where Seth explains late night slang. Proven by the bed sheets story and the song. The episode ended but the segment did not end. It will not end until the next year!

O. M. G. I laughed many times during this segment but the end did me in completely. Eating rhe chocolate desk items and then trying to eat the mummy that wasn’t chocolate and then spitting it into your favorite Mac shirt. Just dead!!! I laughed wayyy too hard at all of this. Apparently the mummy was chocolate but solid white chocolate compared to modelling chocolate for the mug and Frisbee, so the mummy was just too hard to bite through. A legend of a jackal elsewhere in the comments explains his mom is a chocolate artist who made all the desk pieces for this Corrections
