Ohran Frostfang has a nice home here - engineering a lose/lose situation as it poses the tension of "do I block those small creatures with toxic and trade unfavourably or do I let the poison go through and have my opponent draw cards?"

There's the Green crucible artifact for 2GG in this set, Conduit of Worlds, that could really help in this deck especially if you run fetches.

Yawgmoth and Vraska are both great in this deck, I was able to win turn 8 with this precon and a couple upgrades against, ur dragon eldrazi and elf ball decks

I like the idea of teleportation circle and conjurors closet so u can blink vishgraz for more mites

Blink is certainly one direction you can take the deck, especially if you want to include more proliferate-on-ETB permanents.

Something I put in Vishgraz as a game finisher is Siege Behemoth. Since it’s still combat damage getting through Toxic abilities trigger. It’s so dumb I love it. And it’s $2. 😆😆😆

Behind the scenes is a super budget super good upgrade. it is an enchantment that gives all your guys skulk.

@@CommanderMechanic even if you are going tall it is useful in the early game or when behind, after that it has a pump effect for mana, which considering how much extra mana ixhel can get you is really nice. (pump after blockers are declared btw)

Hi, great advice on upgrading this deck. What do you think on putting beastmaster ascension??? And Skithiryx???

Beastmaster's is great in the deck, for sure. I think Skythrix is a little hat-on-a-hat in the deck with no synergy apart from "has infect" though.

Instead of boosting your tokens and if you can't boost them regardless.. Try "Behind the Scene", it's a Black and 2 mana Enchantment that gives your creatures Skulking, meaning they can't be blocked by creatures with greater power. Sure Vishgraz wouldn't be able to get in when all your opponents have poison counters, but those 1/1 mites that can't block in the first place are gonna be great to swing in for easy Toxic 1 on each. Not to mention, it has a pumping effect of White and 4 mana to give all creatures you control +1/+1. So you could just swing in with 6 mites mites and get an easy 12 damage, not something to scoff at.

7:22 I am. At the very least, they should reprint the fuck out of the battlebond lands. Sadly, however, that would make way too much sense to put in commander precons, so they don't do it. Also, the deck being board wipe heavy is because they wanted you to keep Ixhel as the commander, and do a bit of control with her.

Radiant destiny could be an interesting replacement for Always watching. Vishgraz gives 3 bodies on top of himself so with the 5 lands needed to play him automatically gives you cities blessing, granting all your creatures the same effect as Always watching, but it works for tokens too

Indeed. I love Always Watching, but Radiant Destiny is the better call here due to our little mite friends. Honestly though, I'd rather run stuff like Sidar Konda of Jamuraa, and similar cards that get our mites through. They can't block anyways, so giving them vigilance is a bit redundant.

It can fit, sure, but I don't think she's a central piece or a necessity. Your commander having an ETB ability certainly means she'll always have a use.
