We have now sold the Corsa CDX auto we bought from CoPart during the summer. It's off to a new home in Stoke. This video outlines the final work done and the trip south to Lymm in freezing weather
I live in South Wales and last week i was in wrk and a astra cdi came past it instantly reminded me of u and yr channel 😂 love seeing u save so many of these old gems
It's great to see you rescuing these Vauxhalls from the times when they cared about what they were producing. I just wouldn't own a post 2010 Vauxhall.
@@lukeparry-mr7hk Yeah I hope so. Took me forever to get hold of a replacement rear boot panel. No smoked rear number plate rear lights available. then the whole headache of finding a f28
Jammy sod. Only that amount of welding was required! But it's just how the Corsas are now. After welding up my '93 Corsa B up, they do love to rust and it's easy to see why! Glad the car is gone to a good home and it's one less motor to be finding a space for.
I don’t think it was frozen more than likely bust pump he drove it from Scotland didn’t he to Lymm services if it’s not defrosted in that time obviously it’s broken or should I said of course it’s broken plus engine management light kept coming on more than his indicators
Hope the welding’s better on this than what was on the exhaust for the astra estate, the exhaust looked like stevie wonder had done it! Your brother in law would be horrified with it 🤣
I though I seen the engine management light on too Probably why it was at co part probably got engine issues plus lights are past it all misted over wipers sound like they need replacing too and washers broken
Engine management light keeps coming on and the head lights are all faded and misty and the wipers didn’t sound frozen to me sounded worn out the washer wasn’t still frozen at the later point in the video like he said because he had been driving it so it would have thawed out so clearly broken all mot failing items and if engine light is on could be something serious and the original reason it was at co-part don’t think people are just gonna scrap a good car And it’s failed 5 mots needing major stuff doing for immediate repair once that age and every year something come up for mot that makes it fail you should start to think is it cost effective to keep this car on the road just to keep failing mots each year and you won’t get the money back out on it for what is current value is and most mots keeps bringing up the same minor defects that need sorting so if someone can’t even fix the minor they will be come major and that could be during the year it still has MOT on and you wouldn’t know and could become a death trap and that’s not right having a car on the road with defective parts I think they should change the law and if the same parts keep coming up on minor and you know they hadn’t previously been replaced under advice from other mot that they soon need replacing they should become major after so many mots and be part of a failure I’ve seen cars got through mot 3 or 4 times with same minors on but they only keep fixing the major problems they should by the that point be made to fix the minor ones too because you can’t keep putting it in for mot and then never repair items just because it’s minor still obviously something wrong or they wouldn’t get brought up at the mot
