It's here!!!! Part 3 of the Corsa Conversion. This has been a fun series to film and I am very happy with the improvements the Corsa parts have provided.
In part 1, I replaced the factory intake with Corsa air intake system utilizing there PowerCore dry filter.
In part 2, I installed Corsa's Sport Catback system.
In this video I take the Sport system to the extreme and install the resonator delete kit.
The sound of this kit blows me away. I absolutely love the Corsa exhaust note!

Years ago I had a 2009 Challenger SRT-8 with Kooks Longtubes, Corsa Extreme and K&N Intake. Best sounding setup I ever heard on the early 3rd Gen Challenger. I’ve been looking at the same setup on my 19 Rebel. I love the sound of the Corsa. I could even get 26MPG on the highway too!

I been watching all three episodes and have enjoyed seeing it come to life. you got me sold on the exhaust setup. as for the cai still not sure yet. have you noticed any mpg differences yet? either up or down? also as far as the truck warranties will this setup let the stealership deny any of them you think? thank for the awesome videos.

Only if they can pin your the issue you may be having on the part. In the 15+ years I’ve been using intakes and exhaust system, never once have they caused any issues that I would need to involve a dealer to repair.

Thanks for posting this. Been looking forever trying to hear the difference between sport and extreme. I have sport now. From video I do hear a difference. In person do you feel it is a descent difference. Worth 200$?

I think so but that’s my personal opinion. I love a good cold start and the res delete pipe does just that. I’ve gotten some compliments from others when they hear my truck fire up so from my perspective, totally worth it.

Nope, love the sound of my raptor too! Definitely a different sound note compared to my Rebel but really enjoying the truck’s power and the mileage.

Donated it to my dad so he could cut the resonator off so his corsa exhaust can some like the extreme kit.

I love the extreme. If it ever gets to be too loud it’s as easy as swapping my midpipe out for the OEM one.

So I have a 2015 Ram. They only sell the Corsa sport system for my truck. Since I don’t have that front resonator, doesn’t that technically make it like the extreme version for the 5th gens?

So buying the extreme pipe which costs more money and will sound as loud as a borla attack basically but be way more expensive..borla already delete's the resonator dont they.

I believe the borla kit uses the factory resonator, you can buy a new resonator but the atak kit does not include it. The tips are also different between the kits. The borla ones are single walled rolled tips like you’d see in a flow master kit. The Corsa’s are double walled tips which I think gives the truck a more finished look.

@@WaterFowler41 the difference too is in sound. Borla has a refined sound but it sounds very flat in EQ to me. Ive used flowmaster, borla, Magnaflow, and deleted but honestly, Magnaflow always sounds deep and dead, borlas sound better but are still flat, and Corsa sounds like a flowmaster met nascar without the shitty drone from flowmsster

So what do u use for a gasket ? Between Rez delete and new sport exhaust ? Does it come with one or do u have to scavenge the old gasket ???

@@WaterFowler41 thanks I was not sure if a gasket came when u got both together. The exhaust and Rez. I thought there might be one. About how long should this take to install ? And any idea roughly what a shop should charge for this to install. ?? I kno it varies. But ballpark so I have an idea that I’m not getting gouged

No idea in shop cost but the OEM exhaust can be removed in about 30 min. If you watch my Kooks install video I show how to remove the factory exhaust without cutting it.

@@WaterFowler41 the project is not beyond me I see how simple the whole thing is .. it’s more a matter of not wanting to do it vs have it done . I’d say anyone charging over 200$ in my opinion would be getting pricy .. obviously I haven’t done it. But to me it looks like a trained mechanic who works on cars every day and has a lift could most likely do it in an hour. But I’m just guessing .. I suppose I could go to like a Midas muffler but idk if I want a chain muffler shop touching a $1700 exhaust . But it is basically a bolt in so I’m not sure it really needs a high end mechanic at an import shop .. food for thought I guess .. mine just arrived in the mail today matter of fact ..

I’m not really sure, but going from sport to extreme was a couple extra decibels so I would imagine the same results for the borla. Double check that your truck has a front resonator though. Some don’t, not really sure why but some do and some dont

I did the same thing with the Borla ATAK. I didn't notice too much difference behind the truck but it was a little bit louder in the cab. Kind of annoying but it wasn't drone, it was just noise.

My 2020 Rebel doesn’t have that bump on it. It’s just a one piece pipe. They remove them resonator in. 2020?

It’s hit or miss, I’ve heard others with the same thing, not really sure what determined when a truck got the resonator or not

If someone gave me a Mishimoto one I’d totally install it but at this point I’m not going out of my way to buy one, I don’t think the juice is worth the squeeze with them.

@@khyoon14 or realistically anything direct injected and/or turbo'd. Anything port injected will be able to clean valves, where direct injection can't so a catch can is almost mandatory if you want to prevent taking down the top part of your engine for a deep clean at 80k miles
