People are looking at the car not You, I'ts not everyday you see a classic Corvair going down the road & allot people have never seen one , & have no idea what kind of car it is . when You get everything back on it will shift properly & make sure to check your fluid level after you have put it all back together should be down about a 1/4 of a quart .But just check it 1st ,thanks for video & it 's looking good.
Yeah I'm pretty sure I've got the only driving Corvair in town! I know of another close by but it's just sitting. Maybe I'll buy it off them and have two Vairs :)
I also follow Home Built by Jeff "Alfarrari" and just started watching his Porsche 911 build. Its funny hearing "the" music and not seeing the Corvair :)
The stutter is because with the steel line disconnected you have a vacuum leak. The vacuum modulator once reconnected the shift points will likely be back to normal. The new vacuum modulator maybe adjustable if it has a small screw in the very center of where the vacuum hose fits on the nipple. For now reinstall the steel line and run a length of vacuum hose long enough to reach to the new vacuum modulator and you should be cruzen.. Good luck.
