Corvette C4 Headlight Assembly Removal in under 20 Minutes 

Just bought my first C4, lots of crap problems like this but the car has 18,700 original miles on it...legit 😎👍 You know anything about wipers? Thanks, Doc

@@VetteSource Thanks and I will. Would be great if you were local cause I could sell the parts I wouldn't need at a huge discount so you could resell them. If I go with a C4 I'll just end up buying one that's needs restored so all of the front end I want even need. Even most of the interior electronics I will not even use. I wanted to keep it all mechanical gauges. Basic 350 with turbo 350 transmission. I may go with the 700R4 but i will probably just bite the bullet on mpg and just stay with the turbo 350. If anything I'll join a group on FB and unload all the parts I dont need. At least someone will put them to good. Thanks for the information and keep up the great work and content here.

Hey Gerson, you can loosen the bolts as you described and shift the assembly back more towards the center of the hood opening. If your car is an earlier C4, there will also be two bolts on the bottom of the headlight mount bracket that need to be loosened in addition to the 2 mount bolts on each side.

You mean the ones that go around the headlights?

@@VetteSource yes. They hold the headlight in the bucket. All the parts places want $50 a piece. I ain’t paying that. Lol

It’s funny because the one I have that’s broke (again) actually broke a couple months back and I just took it out and jb’d the tab back on and it held till this past weekend. But I was gonna buy a pair then and the were only like $12 on ecklers and zip. Then now $48 & $59 ! I was like “what the heck !” So I’ve just been trying to find someone with extras that would make me a deal.
