If Corvettes were a music album, C7 platform would be labelled as the greatest hit!
This platform taught us so many things when it comes to high speed setups and track focused implementations. Its sad for us to see it go, but all journeys come to an end and we are beyond happy to have been a part of this FAST one!

You're our of your mind. The c2 or the c6 have not only the most historic race history. The c6 was the last real driver's car. The c7 is nice but it went away from the style and substance of what a corvette is. And the c8 is a continuation of that departure. Fat and full if electronics and nannies. Real visceral road feel is gone with new corvettes.

This video was amazing , my c6 grand sport has been one of the things I hold closest to my heart in life because of the great escape the car brings me when working on it , driving it , experiencing it . I contribute a lot of my resilience and happiness to my corvette , this video incapsulates that without saying a word , great piece of cinematography!

I just got one a few months ago thats similar to this one. Same color 2019 c7 grand sport convertible, 2lt with carbon fiber package, ground effects, etc. 3200 miles. It's my picture for google and youtube. It's an amazing looking car and with the top down it looks even better. I bought it over the C8. I probably won't get the C8 for a couple years.

I have a C7, Z06. I took a C8 out for a test ride and although the C8 has many good plus things about it, I like my C7 better. Normally, I get a new vette every 2 years. But no more

Nice video! I got my 2019 GS in Jan 2022...4900 miles on it, CPO. My only regret is that it's a 1LT...otherwise ZERO complaints!

I just got a 2017 GS. M7 Shifter doesn’t like entering 2nd gear when transmission is cold and short shifting. Have skip eliminator too. You guys experience this?

@@hasonlavajunk9774 I had 2nd/3rd issue with only 3k miles on the clock. Swapped the oem trans fluid and everything was buttery smooth. Cold transmission will often be more effort to get in gear.

I just got a 2017 GS with 16k miles on it and I freaking love it. I upgraded from a scatpack and tho I miss the scat the GS it a driving experience that's simply amazing

I totally agree. I can't get rid of my 18 Grandsport for nothing. Well balanced car for sure and FUN to drive. Purchase new with no problems or recall at all. Only 15k on it.

Got my 2017 GS last week, had to take to the dealer for the corvette “shutter” other than that rides like a charm. It’s headed to national speed in Richmond Virginia for a A&A supercharger now. Best vette ever made!!!!

Hi. Can you please tell me what they did to fix the shutter? I have a 2016 Z06 and it shutters. Feels like running over rumble strips.

@@puggie1019 they had to flush the original transmission fluid out and replace it with some “high dollar” brand fluid basically. The original one collects moisture which causes it to shutter

LG motorsport short shifter with comp Knob. Better visibility on our track video in the same car.

Bit of both. End of road as a salute to C7 platform ending with C8 moving midengine. This was our 2nd C7, who knows we may come back to it in future.
