We have always wanted to drive historic Route 66 and we finally did it. We decided that just driving Route 66 in our Jeep and staying in hotels the whole way was not going to be enough so we made the decision to camp the entire way out camping and eating only what we could carry in the trunk of the Corvette, which was a challenging exercise in packing, but we did over 4,000 miles! Episode 1 includes travel through Illinois and Missouri.
