When I was a kid, my best friend’s big brother got a ‘58 and that started my love of Corvettes. Looks just like it did back then. Thanks for the memories!
Hello Lyle. Bought my first Corvette, a C5, in october last year. Joined Club Corvette Sweden two weeks ago and me and my son went to our first meet last thursday. I'm in love. Love the car, love the community. Keep making these great videos!

Loved the tour of the shop. I’ll say it again and again. I wish I lived closer. My ‘98 6 speed going into shop tomorrow for a new master with hopes that solves the problem of clutch not returning as it should. 🤞
Denmark, thats cool, I have had the privilege of owning a 72, 76, and currently a 04 Z06, 75, 76, 77 are great years, my 76 was built like a tank, super sturdy well made and reliable, I bet you love that 77 esp in Denmark!
Lyle - you cracked me up with the "new tire smell". Some of us are "sicker" than others. It says a lot about me that I completely understood what you meant. Some very cool cars there.
Awesome Corvettes . Thanks for sharing . My neighbor growing up had a 68 , 327 , 4 speed coupe , and a 58 ex fuelie with 2 x 4's . Really fun as a teen being around them. His brother traded his 76 Coupe for a new 78 Silver Anniversary, L82 , 4 speed. Awesome cool cars . I love all Corvettes .
That is the whole point--we get to play with these cars every day, and when we have several cool ones in at the same time I will always share wit with you guys! Lyle :)
Man Lyle I’m drooling, nice cars! I have a C-7 and a C-5 and hoping to add a C-4 and a C-8 if I can get one without a premium! You are my standard for Vettes, I know you provide honest and current information. I’m in my 70’s and wanted a Vette since I saw a friend’s 63 split window in 63! It only took me until 2014 to get my first Vette, a new C-7 and it is a great, great car, so much fun to drive. My C-5 looks like it just came off the show room, a 2004 Commemorative Edition with 40k miles, another fantastic driver! Thanks and keep your videos coming!
Yea and S.W. Oregon while you're at it! We have a club of vett's that could use some real Vett mechanics instead of mystified shops and dealerships we have here! Even the newer vett's have to drive out of area for proper service!

I need to call you guys about some work I need done to my 91 6speed. The failsafe switch on my AC keeps engaging even though there isn’t a leak. Pretty soon it’ll be too hot to drive lol.
They are summer tires, although they also make an all-season version. I think they are as good or better than the Michelins--particularly when it comes to moving water during a FLorida monsoon! Lyle

Hi Lyle, thank you for all the videos. I have a friend with a C5 Z06 like the first on this video. He instal a new set of coilovers with air suspension bags in front to lift the car on speed bumps and street stoppers. The problem is the computer limit the car to 80 mph and here in Puerto Rico no one want/know how to fix this problem. I send another coment but don't went up. If you can help us with this I will appreciate it.
Why weren't side pipes put in all the 60z vetts, personally I think they make the car. Back in the mid 70z two of my older brothers had a 66 n 67 with side pipes. Awesome
Great video Lyle.. I noticed your going with the Continentals . Tell us what you like about those tires please .. They are on my radar . I'm running Michelin Pilot Sport 4s and thinking about Goodyear F1 Isometric's as an option
Brian, I drive the car on the street--not the track. My needs are less demanding than many Z06 owners would be. I have hadsuch good luck with these tires on customer's cars that I really wanted to try them on mine. These tires do everything well, and move water far better than some of the more aggressive (and more expensive) track-focused units available on the market. I'll post updates as I drive them. Lyle

I have a 1987 Corvette with the sport seat, is there anybody out there that can restore them? The seats has all the lumbar, shoulder restraint and head control for that vette, plus they are leather.
COntinental ExtremeContact Sports (275/40/17 fronts, 295/35/18 rears) The 265/35 original size is nowhere to be found anymore, but more rubber is better than less! :) Lyle

If you need knowledgeable considerate honest Corvette specialists? C&S are the most dedicated Corvette specialists in south Florida. I know cause my Corvette has been worked on improved and will be on their schedule in the near future. Steve, Lyle and their mechanic who lives breathes and knows Corvettes. Mule.
The PS2's are much more track-focused, but the Continentals have far better treadwear and are absolutely great for daily (sporting) driving. FOr the price difference and for the way I use the car, I couldn't justify the premium for the Michelins. Lyle
@@csvette Thanks for the reply! I plan on buying a C5 Z06 soon for backroads and highway driving. I appreciate your feedback as I was debating which tire brand to purchase. I agree, Michelin’s are way too expensive for what you get!
Hi, there is no such thing as a good 84 vette, I’m no expert but probably the worst vette ever made. I have owned over 15 vettes starting with a 58 and now thinking about trading my 66 Blk on Blk coupe 34k documented mileage 327/350 4spd. Unrestored survivor. People gush when they see it! Everyone wants to buy it, all dreamers and tire kickers. I am curious what you think without seeing it what’s it worth? I paid 85k 3 years ago. I restomoded wilwood all around and power brakes You know how c2 brakes are like, What a difference now I can go through the gears and stop! By the way I bought this car sight unseen. When the car was delivered on a flat bed all my neighbors quickly came out to check it out. I paid the price, I have never lost money of any of my vettes.
