I was raised to keep politics and religion out of discussion. But lately I’ve had several people I know leave the Democratic Party. The friends I have who are black and Hispanic are breaking away because of the pressure they feel to think only way. The alt right is not the right, just like the socialists are not really Democrats. From the right I tell you, we don’t think you are bad people. You’re party is founded in the want of better things for everyone. We don’t agree with you because although the ideas are looking at the end game for a better place, they lack the ability to actually work. Taking 100% of peoples money who earn more than 1 million dollars a year, wouldn’t fund medical care for 3 years. The price of college is astounding, and there is no way to cover it. Unless you want to price fix things, which would lead to less people becoming doctors, scientists, engineers etc. because the added responsibility of attaining these degrees would not equal payout. The general public would not invest in a career that has zero growth in pay. Democrats demonize women who raise their children, and care for their home, while lifting up women who have careers while their children are being raised by strangers. They demonize the family while praising single parents. They push the phrase “my body, my right”, while arguing for socialized medical. They lobby for laws on things they have no experience with, like the representative of Hawaii speaking on gun control when she didn’t even understand the actual part of the gun she was speaking about, leading to false information being spread. You’re not bad people, you just have bad planning and logic.

Isn't it back-asswards that we now have the internet, where all of this information is literally at our fingertips, and yet, people tend to zero-in to what they want to hear, and not what they should want to know? Senator Booker is everything a man should be. He’s honest, he has a stronger sense of integrity than any of those other senators, he fights for his country to the best of his ability, he has the courage to stand up to the majority to protect the entirety of America, he fights to bring men on board with fighting for women’s rights especially with a focus on reproductive rights, and he puts his words into actions and holds himself accountable. He is an inspiration, and I love this dude.

For example, the original Trump tax cuts for billionaires and corporations had less than a 15% approval rating among Republicans, yet they did that anyways. Repealing net neutrality had less than a 10% approval rating among Republicans, yet they did that anyways. Hell, to show you how screwed up America is: Medicare for all, the main spearhead idea behind democratic socialist candidates, has a 78% favorability total among Americans and now has 51% favorability with Republicans, a majority. Will that ever get enacted? No. As a republican you'll get the core principal things that come along with all of the title of Republicans yes, but you'll also get a bunch of things that don't help you at all. In fact, a large majority of the things that'll get past only benefit a hand full of incredibly rich donors on both sides of the political spectrum. If your needs are simple, then Republicans will meet all of your needs. However, if your opinion gets even a little complex, more often than not it'll clash with whatever laws and policies they're inacting at that time.
