@bobbiking2123 that's pretty much what Laurence Fishburne did to Angela Bassett in 'what's love got to do with it' and it was brilliant! Although, based on a true story, and this movie I don't believe is based on a true story, it's realistic. It's the world we live in. Watch "viral crimes' or 'twisted crimes' on RU-vid...you'll see...
I wish they would stop with the Tyler perry hate. This man is giving black actors jobs and actually paying them what they're worth. He is paving the way for the next generation. So they wont have to fight as hard .

Cory is so well trained with publicity - way better than other celeb responses. Clean respectful. He is focused on his kids and his career. The ex wife said completely opposite more along the lines of hoe phase and graduating but hey. So much respect for this father.
Why does Cory have to get questioned about his personal divorce in most of his interviews? This is about a movie that he played the hell out of a role. Flower's to him for his acting. I found myself watching Divorce in the Black a few times. Hands down, it was a good movie. Cory did a fantastic job playing Dallas. Forget the negativity. Let's support our actors who deserve bigger roles and pay. Let the man enjoy his moment. Stop asking him about his personal divorce. I wouldn't even entertain the question. However, he handled the question well.
Depending on how old you are there boss use to work for a show called Peoples Court. He's has a lot of contacts in the business. They tip him off about this stuff. Be blessed

Cory is an amazing actor and he played the mess out of Dallas! The woman that played his mom in Divorce In The Black was amazing too! I would love to see more of her. ❤

Its entertainment and this movie was never meant to be some deep documentary or biography. If it was an all white cast the reaction and reviews wudda been different.

I like the fact that he is considerate. I hate inconsiderate people, and the fact that he let the interviewer know that some people wanted to pass by so they should wait and allow them to pass shows what a decent person he is. On the streets in the UK, you have ordinarily folk, especially the Chinese and tourists flashing cameras 📷 and camera phones📱practically in your face, blocking the pavement while you're simply trying to walk🚶♀️by and go about your business. It's so annoying.

There is no reason to defend it. It waa review bombed. I saw it and I enjoyed it. I don’t li e life on Rotten Tomatoes. Some films that vet high scores bore me to no end and frankly need to spend money on editing.

Divorce in the Black was another Tyler Perry cliché movie hands down. Fans wanted more out of Tyler with this new movie, and didn't get it at all. Tyler definitely needs to work with more writers and producers. Tyler is very talented but you cant do everything alone and expect to grow as a Business man, especially in the tv show/movie industry. On the flip side, Cory Hardrict played his role to perfection and is definitely a good actor. Hope to see him in more future projects.
