Whatever Bill Crosby did or did not do he was a brilliant funny man in this show and a real role model for black men on how to be strong patriarchs and fathers.
@@bobobandy9382 I'm not sure if the rape accusations were real or not, but one said Cosby drugged and raped her in multiple occasions. That seems like a lie to me. Now I'm not saying all were lies, but a big chunk of them definitely are. If someone rapes you, you should tell the police immediately. Not after they become famous.
He should not have been incarcerated; instead, he should have been placed under the care of somone who is able to summons both Spiritual, and phycological healing. If you observe carefully, and closely, you will plainly see the physical manifestations supporting this conclusion. Still love, and enjoy his humor, and hoping for a positive outcome once his time on the inside is completed.
Denise and Clair were always my 2 crushes growing up... shit man,,, Lisa Bonnet is still one of my crushes... if she asked me on a date I wouldn’t even have to think to say yes!!!
Jesse Navarrete to be honest Anna Jarvis the lady who created mother's day didn't want mother's day to be commercialized she wanted it to be about appreciation if you look at it this way fathers day is more traditional Aurora Smart Dodd got her wishes when creating Father's day it's about appreciation and admiration for true dads all around the world not presents
In a later scene, Cliff says to Theo. "Somewhere there's a suit that goes with this tie. BUT DON'T GET ME THE SUIT!" I think Theo should've promised his dad that he'd find that suit and return the tie to its owner.
In a later episode Cliff talks about the time when Theo (about 6 years old) bought him that tie, and how he was so proud to give it to his daddy. To show his appreciation, Cliff wore the tie to a medical seminar.
"Soap-on-a-rope, great gift. Lots of times I've been in the shower and wanted to hang myself! Why does anybody put these two things together!? Because they rhyme? I don't need 'Shaving-Cream-on-a-Wooden-Beam'." --Jerry Seinfeld, "SeinLanguage" BTW, I still wanna see the suit that goes with that tie!
2:36 "I'm telling you, last year, I sat in the living room on Father's Day, children walked past: 'Hi Dad, nice to see you.' 'Hello, Dad.' Somewhere around 4 O'clock, somebody said, 'Is the mall still open?" LOL!!!
"And that's why you all get great presents Claire because you promote yourselves better..." HAHAHAHA!!! That is the truest statement in the history of the planet.
All of us fathers do ,shoot mothers guilt trip their kids into getting them better gifts .I'm not a father myself, but shoot even fathers day they want it to be for single mothers. Like what the hell ate fathers chopped liver
The Cosby show maybe one of the last shows to show a father that isn’t a doofus, I think Dan from Roseanne may actually be the last I could be wrong. Either way I like both shows.
I think Carl from "Family Matters" was the last one.. I hate when they make the Dad's look like idiots.. I understand you wanna show that the Dad makes mistakes too but why do he got to be a stumbling bumbling idiot.. A Doofus.. I can't stand it! That's why I couldn't stand Shows like "That's so Raven" The Dad was an idiot on that show.. Judge Philip Banks is my favorite TV Dad while Dan from Roseanne is my Second favorite..
Mother’s Day is the single busiest day for florists. He makes good points but I’ve never met one person who wasn’t a florist or a chef who really USED a bouquet of flowers for anything other than a single day of decoration
If he was Asian, they would throw those gifts back to his children’s Face. The gift has to be thoughtful...better yet just get good grades and don’t overdue the rebellion is the Father’s Day gift demand from an Asian household. *grin* always sensible and doesn’t require money.
This is a very interesting blend of Fathers Day and Christmas I saw the first run at Christmastime of 1984 then the 2nd run at Fathers Day time of 1985.
When my name died and we looked in her closet we found nearly every new dress that we had gotten for her, and they had never been worn. She had about three dresses that she wore for everyday, and one nice dress to wear to church on Sunday.
The kids then go out and buy some practical but still a bit silly things which he enjoyed since the kids all had reasons tor buying the things the bought him.
