I remember taping this interview back in 97 and watching it over and over. Mainly because of Rudy, it had only been 5 years since the Cosby show ended at that time but I was only 9 back when it ended so in childhood time by '97 it felt like it had been 50 years since we last saw them. I remember I was blown away by how Keisha grew up to be so beautiful.
People you must realize that this video is pretty old,[1997] The hair style Tempestt was wearing back then was popular, to be honest I think she look kind of cute with the bald style. She is not sporting that style now,
I remember reading that they were unsure about hiring Sabrina (Sondra) because she’s only 10 years younger than Phylicia (Clair) Bill wanted to hire Whitney Houston to play Sondra ...this was before she got her record contract
To everyone tripping over 'the kiss' Lol, that's always been Sabrina's nature, as I have observed through her character on the show. Some people are just brought up around that type of affection and it comes naturally to them. My guess is, Malcolm was likely one of the cast mates who didn't feel awkward about it, which allowed them both to become comfortable interacting with each other that way over the years.
Keshia's exactly my age. Don't know exactly who is months older, but that is my year! I grew up on NBC Thurs night in the mid 80s, then Mon night/tgif Friday* from the early 90s on. In my innocence, they were very entertaining times. *I would not watch tgif today for the Sabbath, but then I didn't know any better!
This show itself is almost 25 years now.. It has been 24 years since this show... And 37 years since first pilot of The Cosby Show back in 1984 (many of us not even born😄)

Just because you dont hear from stars no more doesnt do them a disservice. They got PAID. AND TO SEE THIS JUSY MAKES ME FEEL FOR COSBY. THIS WAS YWENTY YEARS AGO. Keenans show felt like yesterday.
You know, it is amazing how much black people needed THE COSBY SHOW. Amazing how disappointed we were in Bill. It was the same as if blood family had hurt us. Lately, I am just grateful for what I had from 1984-1992.
