Tutorial on how to style a Junko Enoshima cosplay wig!
There's endless ways to try and style Junko's mess of a hairstyle, and this is how I did it! This tutorial doesn't require any previous wig styling experience - I go through every step of the process.

I've been looking for ages trying to find a styling tutorial for big bushy curls before I finally had the galaxy brain idea to look up junko styling tutorials. This was so helpful and easy to follow what you're doing! Thanks so much!

For my Junko wig I did one pair of tails to be the volume. I braided them in super tight, tiny braids through out the whole wig tail, then straighten the braid, took the braid out it was super tight wavy curls! Then to finish I took to more set of tails brushed them out to make them look pretty, and I was done!

I hope this helps me if I get a junko wig! Some background: I have been planning on getting a wig for a while. ( I am a minor without a credit card yet ) so I asked my mom for a wig and she said maybe. I am planning on getting a wig off amazon since they are pretty cheap. Idk if I can use heat for the wig I want since it doesn't say. I'll update this post if I ever get one!

Sierra My hero cosplayer you can't buy just the ponytails of this particular wig, but you can for some wig stores. however, if you want to double up the ponytails like i did in this tutorial, you'll have to buy four plus the base wig. arda's ponytail clips are about $9, so $36 is a good guess for how much four ponytail clips will cost. the base wig will cost about $22-$30 depending on where you get it, which brings your total cost to at least $58 if you buy the clips separately. it's about $50 to buy two of the wigs i linked, so it's honestly cheaper to get the two wigs.

Really good tutorial! Do you think that you could steam the hair in a plastic bag and let it set overnight instead of using the blow dryer?

yes, i think that would work! :O all you have to do is get the wig fibers very warm and then let them cool; it doesn't actually matter what method you use to do that!

@@kidcorvidae I actually tried steaming them and then, because I was impatient, blow dried them and the amount of volume I got was insane! It's pretty frizzy but I have enough volume with just one set of clips that it looks a lot like yours with two, and I'm really happy with it!

if you have any hair curlers at all, any kind should work as long as you can get the hair in a curled position!

xox_Charlotte_xox yes! if you did that, the curls might look different than mine and you’d need to boil the wig for a couple seconds instead of blowdrying it, but that could work!

Nalani Lynn you could try to use traditional plastic curlers? i use these bc they were fairly cheap on amazon and work really well, but a set of plastic curlers that people use for curling their hair might work too!
