I remember that time I met another cosplayer at the mall and we switched wigs and met up like 2 hours later to give them back

It always makes me happy to see cosplayers in public. Reminds me that the community is finally being accepted.

I just went to the grocery store dressed up as uzui Tengen from Demon Slayer. I didn’t really have time to take it off before I left and needed to run errands. I also figured I might as well see how the costume holds up and how I should improve it. Safe to say, I got many stares, and could definitely feel a few angry glares from the older people. They didn’t say anything tho probably because I’m like 6’5 210lbs of muscle but yeah haha. It was worth it in the end because I realized the pins holding my clothes don’t really stay together too well and the ribbons at the legs don’t stay too wrapped. So I got that to look forward to fixing before Katsucon. My advice tho, cosplay with a group of people and definitely don’t go to normal places if you have social anxiety or anything. It’s a great confidence builder for cosplay but if you cant afford to deal with the looks or people remembering you then don’t do it.
