Cost of Smoking vs. Vaping - Is Vaping Cheaper than Buying Cigarettes? 

It's no contest, I was spending $1000 per month on smokes (at the time a pack here in Australia was $35) Vaping costs me $90 per month

I just had a lady in front of me at the store last night buy smokes and she bought a cheaper brand and spent 8.81 on a pack, Marlboro were 8-9 something depending on the store when I quit over a year ago

ex-heavy smoker here, smoking 25+ sticks a day. A pack of cigs cost me $4 so i usually buy 4-5 reams a month (1 ream = 10 packs = $35). 35 x 4 = 140 x 12 = $1680 a year but with vape, i love using my pod kits replaceable cartridges, it gets burnt out after 2-4 weeks depending on how i use it and it cost $4-5 each cartridge and i use up about 90-100ml ejuice nic salt, which cost about $5-6 every 30ml nic salt ejuice. which totals to about $30-$40 per month. The pod kit that i regularly use cost me $20 to buy its called the OXVA Xlim extreme taste with v2 cartridges. I also have spares that i use when i charge like the caliburn g2 (very good spare, it has no buff counter though so not a huge fan) which was $24 and a RTA LOST VAPE mod kit which was $80 total price for the mod, battery and coil atomizer(rarely use, not a huge DTL user). I save about more than $1000 every year.

It was always cheaper for me but once I started buying juice online and using rebuildables it became super cheap.. When you find a good online retailer you can expect to save 50% or more on juice and hardwear compared to a retail store.

Chicago cig prices got up to $15 a pack..even tho I had someone bring me cartons from Indiana for $70..it was frustrating when I couldn't get a hold of him and have to buy a pack for $15. I'll never ever go back to cigs..for so many reasons other than the price..and it's mainly the smell..not the health.

It's the 18th of July, 2020 and the cost in Australia, of a 50g pack of tobacco is over $100. The cost of smoking has soared astronomically since this vid was made, smokers that convert to vaping can save thousands!

in pakistan its the complete opposite cuz cigarettes are so cheap , vaping 60ml costs almost the same = 12$ a week, a pack of parliament cigarettes costs 0.60$ in a week thats 4.2$ smoking is 3 times cheaper than vaping here. vaping for a year will costs 576$ pack a day for a year will cost 221$. The health benefit of vaping is still there but how much better is it really, when i was vaping i still kept smoking cigarettes cuz of the addiction

OK, for me 2ml is about 1 pack of cigarette. A pack here is 5$ 150$ for a month 60ml is 10$, so I'm good for a month with that. ( 60/40+aroma+nicotine) Vape forever man! 😀

So the cigs are definitely right on point I've saved so much money quitting cigs and honest I make a 30ml last for like 3 weeks so basically besides the start up cost I've saved so much money i stopped coughing up tar and honestly i feel alot better

$5.51 on cigarettes? and this is 2019 vid no way ..more like 7.50 or 8.00 a pack...if you have a replaceable coil set up or pod system and 120 ml of juice you like as an every day vape juice. you spend $15 on coils or pods a month...$15 or $20 on coils a month. $max out at 40 if you buy vape juice at local vape stores..compared to $100 every 2 weeks on cigs!!!..

Bought 10l of 7/3 vg pg now i Just get flavours and accosionally a Nic salt booster. Spent like €130 once a few years back been using it since then. Better than €10 a Day for a few years that's for sure.

i had to go back to smoking because even buying e juice from vape wild is just to expensive i am a chain smoker and vape even more and go through juice just to fast i pay $10 for a pack of cigs when i buy juice i have to spend way over $100 so i can buy a few flavors at 120ml each

60ml a week is not happening on a sub ohm tank ,not by me or anyone i know . I go through a 60 ml every couple of days. these juices burn through coils quick to at least thats been my finding on cheaper juice ,add that in with the fact that in a 5 pack replacement coils your're lucky if 3 are good at 10-20 per pack online ,5 bucks each coil at a local shop. I think the cost to vape is right there with smoking depending on where you live and the cost of a pack.

Ok, but they dont tell me the ratio of juice to cigarettes.. how much ML is worth one cigarette for example?

Is no one gonna talk about how he didn’t calculate the coil cost that we have to replace every 1-2 weeks while vaping and those coils are like 9-10$ each so finally I can say that cigarette is way cheap than vaping at least it is where I am from India 🇮🇳

Haha make no mistake, unless you are a heavy smoker vaping will be quite a bit more expensive. If you don't go straight into diy and start vaping like most with a pod mod or whatever you will spend a lot of money on juice, coils and even more juice, cause it's fun to try new tastes until you might settle for some favorites. Then you advance to more advanced mods and tanks maybe and it will cost you again. So realisticly, expect to spend more than when smoking cigarettes only. But hey, its quite fun and adds a whole new layer to it that cigarettes don't have.

60ml = $12 here in Ontario 30ml cost $20 let me do the math uh $40 bucks, I can drive to the Indian reservation and pick up a carton of smokes "8 packs" for $30. So cheaper not the case, and now they say vaping is just as bad for u.

Cigarettes cost over 10 dollars a pack in CT. I don't know any state where cigs are only 5.51???

Pack a day?! Thats a lot! I spent on malboro gold about 11 euro in week wich is about 44 euro on month. So costs less than vape.1 pack a day could be like 5 ml or 4 ml juice. I even started to roll cigaretes wich cost me about 5 euro on week with a same amount tobaco(winston).But now i am vaping just for sake of health.

I was spending 90 bucks every 2 weeks on 2 cartons of cigs, after buying 1 mod and 1 tank. yes thats right folks. you dont need more than one. i spend $15 on coils every 2 weeks and $27 on 300ml's a juice a month. STOP BUYING NEW MODS. buy 1 mod that does 200w's and 1 tank/RDA and youre set for literally everything

Vaping is fucking expensive. Changing coils. Buing liquids. Faulty vape etc. Smoking is muchhh cheaper
