ERROR ALERT! I mention about the TPT Fees that with a Premium Membership you are deducted 15¢. That is partially true. If the buyer purchases other resources and the total cost is over $3, no 15¢ charge for you! My apologies - I keep forgetting to mention this!

I love Flatpack! I also love his other products. For ink, I order generic ink from Amazon and spend about $3 a month, so even that can be done cheaper! You can create products in the free version of Canva, but I don't recommend it. You can aslo flatten products for free by saving the slides as pngs or jpegs and then insert those into a new slidedeck, then save that as a pdf. It's very time consuming, but it's free. There's a product called Digital Express that will do this (and more), but we're talking about saving money!

I tried saving as jpeg and putting into a new deck and I agree, time consuming. I haven't heard of digital express. I will check it out. Thanks for watching multiple videos!

@@ItsAllPrimary It's pricey, but I've found it worth it. You need to pay attention to the directions, but if you're importing into Google Slides, it's the bomb. Adore this video. I recently restarted my store. I went from having 85 products to 0. The main reason was because there were many inconsistencies within in my store so I would prefer to have those corrected.

Hi Aron, are you able to use any of your products and upload them again. You might need to be careful if there were sales from your products. If they are removed, your buyers are unable to re-download and can ask TPT for a refund.

I survive the blended teaching!!!!! Tough year! I do primary in Spanish, I use a lot of cliparts. Try not to spend more than 20 a month. I started my store in January 8 and paid for Premium on the 21rst.

If I have sold PowerPoint material under my education subscription, how do I go about fixing that material for future use?

That’s a good question. I’m in the same boat as my early products were made in the education version, too. I didn’t know I needed to do that. When I upgraded to the business version, I was able to get into older materials easily so I don’t think you will need to fix anything. I will contact Microsoft and see if they respond.

Great video! Was curious abt the cost of websites in case u want to have one like siteground. Many start u on the cheap at an introductory price then almost double the second year. Thoughts on costs? Also do u add the privacy and other features?

It depends on what you want to do with your website. If you are just looking for a blog to talk about your resources, both Blogger and Wordpress are free but you should purchase a domain. I've used a couple different website hosts and pricing really varies.

Thanks, your videos are really useful for a new tpt'er :-). Question: I'm Danish, what does flattening mean? Obviously to make something flat, but in this context? Is it not sufficient just to convert the PowerPoint to pdf?

Hi Anne, hello from Canada! When you convert your Powerpoint to pdf, it does not fully secure the clipart and fonts on your resource. Flattening is just flattening the clipart and fonts to the page so that they cannot be lifted. It’s unfortunate that there are people who will try to steal your work and the work of clipart and font artist, but flattening will deter most people. Hope that helps!

@@ItsAllPrimary, nothing yet, really. I have only shared with colleagues so far, so I just saved the PowerPoint as a pdf. But I have a program called Sejda, which should do the trick :-).
