I have waited so long to finish and finally share this cottage inspired nursery reveal! This was such a fun project to complete, and although my baby is now almost two years old, this special shared nursery room is finished!

The room is so beautiful. A child's room should have soft colors, cozy, and be a calm place to retire to at night or nap time. You have achieved that very special place for the baby. What a wonderful mother you are.

You did a beautiful job with this room! Do not say you could never be a designer. You have clearly designed your own children's room. The more you create the better you'll become at it to just look at an empty room and envision ideas of beauty. Stay away from negative sayings about yourself and give yourself credit for what you have done with your sons' room and your home. God bless!

What’s wonderful about RU-vid is the ability to share the heart and soul a young mom puts into every detail and have it thoroughly appreciated. Before, most of this would be uninteresting to a husband and lost on children too young to value it. It was just the satisfaction of knowing all of the meaning and time put into it within your own heart.

I also think it is great that your boys share a room. Your home is adorable and truly not every kids needs their own room. Society tells us that once we have a handful of kids we need to get a bigger house but you know when i was younger I did not have my own room. My parents financially could not afford a bigger home. I got my own room by the time I was a senior in highschool. You know I grew up just fine, not having everything. I feel I was blessed with what i had.

I already commented on this adorable room on Facebook. I have to say I just watched your Germany video and I was so moved by Mike’s testimony 😭 . I am a Christian and I got saved very unexpectedly with a visit to my current church out of curiosity 25 years ago! ⛪️ Y’all are right, it not about religion or tradition, it’s about the moving of the Holy Spirit in your heart. Salvation makes everything in life clear! Thanks for sharing! Your children are blessed to be raised by godly parents. We have many young couples in my church raising young children. They are going to stand out in this world we live in today!😊

One of my beasties and her sister both had sinks in their bedrooms growing up. It was sooooo nice to have when they got to be middle schoolers and above. It made sharing a bathroom really easy and I always wanted one too.

Miss Andrea. Two words: Beautiful. Inspiring. I was close to tears, watching this... because I felt the love and care on your Heart in doing this Room... what matters is not that it took " a Year " ... what matters is the tine was well spent,...curating. finding things. Thrifting. Sewing. Putting things together in such a way that it d o e s. Look Professionally done. Believe me, you probably have that as a Gift , doing Childrens Rooms. The Duvet cover looks wonderful, and the crib skirt .... My mom was a librarian, just note: if you have old vintage books, make sure it's just decorative as old book when opened release mold spores into your children's Lungs. So please please be careful!!! 🙏 from one boy mom to another. ❤ love love love the nursery though so charming! 😊

The tablecloth Idea is awesome. Definitely, keep the sink in my opinion. From mess and spills to, upset tummies that might not make the trip to the bathroom, dirty little hands from art projects to treen years useful to have in a pinch.

I love this kind of video showing the decorating process. I’d love to see videos like this at Christmas as you decorate your home. Our first home we bought in 1984 had a sink in the nursery. I did use it quite a bit because I didn’t use baby wipes just little cotton face cloths. 😂 Your nursery is absolutely adorable. I was telling my husband that I wish I had you tube channels like yours watch for mentoring back in the 80’s.❤️ Thanks for sharing your decorating process and your beautiful home. ❤️

The boys will love it... I also have sons, though now grown with a grandchild on the way and I always loved decorating their bedrooms and our home. I also enjoy DIY and it's amazing how a tablecloth can become a quilt cover and a pillow case. I'm enjoying your newer video's more, it's nice to see a space slowly come together, thanks for sharing, as most of us are limited to a tight budget too! Well done!

Darling nursery, Sweetie pie; every textile and thrifted piece, plus your baby crib tells a special story of Momma's love for her precious baby boys!!💖 Like you, Hubby and I have used tablecloths to make curtains for our downsized home! White tieback curtains for our small ranch work beautifully for the windows here!☺️ The yardage is ideal for making any width required, while the cost from tablecloth websites is a great deal - win, win!!! What a precious space to lay their little heads at night. The bunny wallpaper is gorgeous and sets the tone for the whole room and color scheme. Blending it with checks is the perfect mix of pattern. And of course those adorable animals wall heads. They are so unique.

Oh my word, is that Isaiah with the blond curly hair? Be still my heart, so precious. Reminds me of my Caleb, he had the white blonde hair & was my soother boy, he's now 16. Love the blue on the crib & bed. Such a beautiful room in blues, cream & browns. Love that you have your crib. My boys crib was almost the same only no boards on the ends, spindles went right up. It was a Jenny Lind crib in honey oak from Sears, I loved the vintage feel of it. Love the bunny wall paper & all your aninal things. Absolute score to get the fan for $1. I have one almost the same. 😊💙💕

I think the sink in the bedroom is a GOOD idea! ..back in the days of yore ...there was always a "dry sink" with a big bowl & water pitcher in bedroom & hotel rooms for people to "freshen up" ( shave, wash face, brush teeth, comb hair, etc. ) I would kept it!!

I’m so glad they still taught home economics when I was in junior high! I made most of my clothes when I was in high school. But I still love working with woven checked or plaid fabric for curtains, etc because it makes it so much easier to cut and sew a truly straight seam! 😂 The nursery is beautiful! I remember the checkerboard table from the first reveal of the older boys bedroom after you did the beadboard ceiling. Such a special piece for them to have.

I grew up with those fans all my childhood. Never once was I tempted to stick my fingers in one...as it was explained to me at a young age that my fingers would be cut off if I did. I think parents today must not like to ever tell their children 'no'! Because they don't say 'no', and explain why, children today are even more prone to accidents than we were because they don't know!

I love it! It ended up looking very Swedish. I did my kids' room very similar, with the same shade of blue gingham curtains, ticking bed skirts, and 'cloudy sky' painted walls. (Thats about 20 years ago, and I've got grandkids now.)

That is the sweetest room for little boys I’ve ever seen! You did a fantastic job sewing the duvet too. The copper, enamel pot, and wooden spoons remind me of my now grown kids. I bought them antique child-sized china, copper and real kitchen gadgets to play with too. How I wish I could turn back the clock. They grow up way too fast. Anyway, the room is beautiful!

Tablecloths are a wonderful idea that many people don't think about. I recently purchased four VERY large ones from a big name store that is going out of business near our house because I know they will make perfect curtains with almost zero sewing!
