Yes Kriel had a massive game against France. Hw really impressed me as he has matured a lot. He used to be out of position a lot because of his desire to impress. Last week he was bang on. Respect to him and the team. GO BOKKE!

Agreed. Could be a generational thing. Siya and some others others are good captains. But there's something about his personality that sets him apart. Kinda like the Hanse Cronje and Graeme Smiths.

As a South African, I think England are going to be smarter this time compared to 2019. They will devise a strategy to deal with our physicality, game plan around our quick wingers, and show amazing ingenuity. That said, South Africa wins by brutal 25 points gap.

I think they will have a game plan but I doubt it'll work. As for 'amazing ingenuity', haven't seen any evidence of that so far and it's apparently not something encompassed by mr Borthwick's wheelhouse based on his track record. I think the hope would be that we play our best game of the tournament to date and also hope that SA are a bit knacked from their mighty clash with the Francers. Not a great plan, but I think that's the only way eng get into the egg chasing cup final.

@@yancowles I’m English the basic players have little to choose between them other than England have no genuine pace men and the SA pack are bigger and stronger. Ireland showed SA can be beaten The SA coaching and conditioning teams are a step beyond England no one plays the kick chase game to the same level as SA their ability to dominate possession and exit their half isn’t matched anywhere Strangely mixing it with Ireland was the undoing in that game like Ireland against AB and Wales against Puma they simply tried to play too much rugby. Make The ball your friend, make it score easy point keep the board ticking over. No one looks back as says yeah but they kicked X number of points (ok yes they do) but the first thing they look at is WHO WON SA have kicked England out of the cup twice before May the smartest team win on Saturday night 😉

John was wrong saying the disallowed try made a 7 point difference. England were awarded a penalty from that movement which they converted. So it really only made a 4 point difference. In any event it was indisputably in touch.

It would be against the odds but England definitely have it in them to defeat the Boks in this one. SA will be fair knackered after a huge effort vs France so this semi will be there for the taking for England *IF* they play out of their skins and everything clicks on the day. I doubt they'll be able to but wouldn't rule the possibility out.

Eddie Jones….. He has managed some good games but never a team. 2019 was all about the All Blacks, When Japan got passed you that was the only game that mattered that’s why he has never won a title he can’t see the prize only the one match.

As an England fan I do think england will step it up big time on Saturday and put the pressure on. But it's hard to see how they can actually win unless the Springboks team inexplicably falls apart...

@@fuzzynut1991 England r significantly better than South Africa at every sport. Unfortunately in rugby though, SA's steroid abuse problems play a huge part as physicality, fitness, athleticism etc. is far more important than technical ability which is why SA r absolutely crap at all other sports where technical ability is the biggest thing. Unfortunately rugby and their poor testing programs allows SA to be competitive when they ordinarily wouldn't be were it not for the steroid abuse but it is what it is man.

That's how it is unfortunately. They can't compete physically with SA due to the steroid abuse throughout the SA rugby team. Sad but true. World Rugby gotta sort their drug testing out man. If they ever do that then SA will not be competitive in this sport.

Its a 50-50 for England to win, England kinda had the easiest Pool in the World Cup. South Africa and New Zealand had top teams in their pools and they still beat 2 top teams in the Semis and made it and Watching England during the World Cup and before the WC they do have some serious discipline issues, dont get me wrong SA isn't perfect either. But like some comments said I see England going down with red cards flying high for England.
