Grant, you should do a series where you scout a course thoroughly, play at least one practice round, then 18 at that course to try and give yourself an idea on your score with the same prep the pros get. Maybe a trusted caddy like Wes
@Pure.GolfCZ

I was thinking the same. Most scratch golfers would be mind blown if they saw what they are capable of with a good caddy and proper preparation. The problem for RU-vid golf is that the creators feel like they have to always go for the big shots to entertain people.

I think the main issue with playing on something like the PGA Tour is pressure and mentality. It's super high-pressure environment with, at times, your career on the line. Every pro golfer is insanely good, but it's being able to play your best under those conditions that separate them.

Grant, I believe it would be cool to see if you can break your goal score playing two balls on every shot, but taking the worst shot. A pro once told me if I could break 40 playing “worst ball”, I’d know I was good. You’d have to make any putt twice, too. It could make for a cool video. Keep up the good work.👍🏻👍🏻

Grant, you just need to keep doing what you are doing. It seems that the more you collaborate with George and Wesley the better you get. So glad you are getting more serious about improving not only your physical game but your mental game. Confidence is the key my man, learn your gàme's strengths and weaknesses and improve the later while leaning on the former and soak up the knowledge you acquire by playing with other quality players such as the Bryan brothers, Bryson DaBrainChambeau ànd others. With your talent, ability to teach and communicate that to others, your personality and positive vibe (you must get some from your love of reggae) the sky is the limit on growing your channel and brand. In my book you and Bryan Bros are the top two golf channels on Utube and I never miss one of your videos and am always looking forward to more. @chasecorrigan6596
@chasecorrigan6596 5 месяцев назад
@@steelcity4581 nope. First you have to qualify for those events. The cut line at qualifiers are 7-8 under par all the time. Then you have to score well at pga level courses under pga level conditions under pga level pressure. It’s a completely different animal. Your average scratch golfer has absolutely no chance. But, if you stick it to 10 feet all the time, you are in the 60s. Look at Fat Perez. He throws darts at the flag all the time. But...when he's off on his approaches...he's 4-5 over par.

Some people say that if you use a mulligan you don't thereafter have optionality to use the prior shot. If say you sky your tee shot and take mulli hitting into the lake, you're taking a drop brother. You makes your choices, you takes your chances.

Comon @mickclarke… how bad a day are you having? Yes George is better most days, but Grant is killing it right? Love the videos, love the vibes. Go try out man! You’ll never know if you don’t try!

I believe that if it wasn't for George or Wesley. Grant's game would not be as good as it is getting. I feel that if Grant took his game to more practice to becoming a tour player. He could do it. @@mickclarke5741

@johannihlen7438 I love his videos and his vibes and yes he's killing RU-vid golf! But that doesn't change the fact he's literally a mile away from being remotely pga standard 🙈 leave your emotions at the door my man 👌🏼

Great video! I think this only proves the research that Mark Broadie with strokes grain. PGA tour professionals are leaps and bounds better with their approach shots even compared to scratch golfers. Proximity to to the hole is everything. The farther you’re off the tee and closer you are on you 2nd/3rd shots improve your score drastically

Yes. I think Grant could do pretty well with his shots off the tee on Par 4s and Par 5s, but the pros are going to get their approach shots closer on average, they're going to get their shots around the green closer on average, they're going to get their long distance putts closer on average, and they're going to make a far higher percentage of their putts that are around 5-8 ft.
