The analyses were acceptable except for the fact that Iran already has a strong foothold in Iraq, Syria, and Lebonan, enabling it to launch missiles and deploy forces from them. I see your point but you have to remember how the Israeli War Of Independence, the Six Day War and Yom Kippur War ended. Israel is heavily dependent on military strength. The second Israel isn't the strongest country in the region, It will be wiped out so it has no other way to survive but being that strong. Good video overall, but I think there's three things it ignores: 1. Hezbollah in Lebanon and Syria, which Iran supports with weapons, money, and even reinforcements from their own Revolutionary Guard forces. An Israeli-Iranian conflict would almost certainly include a ground war in Lebanon and air skirmishes over Lebanon and Syria. 2. Despite being officially at war with Israel, at this point I don't think it's inconceivable that Saudi Arabia would allow Israel to refuel over its airspace. There are just too many rumours of a backdoor alliance between them for me to dismiss this as a possibility. 3. The roles of Russia and the USA. The USA supports Israel heavily and would at least provide weapons and money during a protracted conflict. Israel is also courting Russia heavily to counterbalance Russia's good relationship with Iran, which is evident in the fact that Israel's strikes in Syria have not been resisted by Russian air defenses there.

good points. i have a few notes- realistically, if there was an actual war Hezbollah would go ballistic (no pun intended!) and unleash their whole land and air arsenal on northern israel. this would cause a major distraction for the israelis, as hezbollah's army alone is larger and more capable than the lebanese state's army, for example. additionally, hezbollah would fire all of the missiles/rockets they have been stockpiling since the war in 2006 (including leftovers from then). Even though Hassan Nasrallah has embellished in claiming hezbollah has enough bomsb to 'send israel back to the stone age', The large amount fired would likely overpower even the fancy iron dome anti air system (in comparison for instance to the comparatively weak arsenal of rockets that hamas has fired in previous wars with only little success). as for saudi arabia, they're not "at war" with israel at all, as they have allied with the US for years (which is israel's payroll). they would for sure assist the israelis and this would present a major challenge for Iran... Another aspect not mentioned is Iran's shia paramilitaries in both Iraq and Syria, as well as the Syrian government. These would all provide at the least logistical support to Iran, and at the most physical boots-on-the-ground support to Iran. Not to mention that financial and logistical support from venezuela and cuba that would also be provided to Iran. As an Iranian myself I hope this war never happens, as it is not worth it, and would do nothing to actually help Palestinians, if not even put them in a position of exposure to further israeli attack (i.e. hamas connections with Iran). Iran, one of the most ancient nations in the world, and the only middle eastern one to never be colonized, has no business engaging an apartheid fascist state that has only "existed" for less than a century... our people do not deserve to suffer any more wars.

Fact, only two organizations in the world have ever aquired the F-14. The US air force and the Iranian air force, due to its high price. Even with today's standards, their missiles have a range of 40 kms and their radars are still pretty good iirc. That's the main reason the IAF bought them in the first place, they wanted mobile air defences on the ready.

On top of this they’re heavy, expensive to maintain and hard to get spare parts for, Iran uses them because they don’t have much of a choice. It’s possibly more capable than F-16 variants up to the BLK-30, but it would be mauled by a modern BLK-52 or Barak-2020, especially with the pilot training difference. For whom is the civil war good right now? -Europe enjoys the huge costs to keep millions -America lost influence to Russia -Syria is in ruins and Russia, Iran would struggle to rebuilt without western help. Russia in particular spends billions on this and the population isn't happy at all. -Israel lost an enemy but they gained a failed state next to their doorstep with radical militias and no territory to defend -Jordan has to host millions, likewise Lebanon Nobody but a select few in arms production benefitted. And they would have benefitted if there wasn't a war too.

You have to have in mind, that this video was produced in relatively short time, with a time limit from an "amateur" regarding military education and experience.

After watching this i gotta say appriciate those realistic POVs and so on . The thing that i gotta say about this sude in Iran, we arent planning on jet fighters and aereal offensives its mostly defensive on that side . The most effort is put on drones on mass production side in which its trully hard to intercept since they are small to notice by RADARs and so on and are the meta these days . The other focus is on assymetric warfare with missiles and again on hundrends and thousands of missiles ... both of these could be transported to trained militia and operators of IRJC in Lebonan and syria and without a doubt even if Israeales try to intercept like 90% of them since the anti balistic missiles are waaay heavier to buy and produce than the Iranian missiles then itd be hillarious to count that as victory . Around here ppl are not up for war but still dat feeling of patriarchy and kicking the aggresors ass is lit . Iran enjoys strategic depth against Israel through Syria and Iraq while Israel does not. Iran can deploy its military assets close to Israel's borders so Iran will have much less supply and logistical issues despite technological inferiority.

Why would you make a video about two countries not bordering each other and with insignificant offensive fleets? A draw is always going to be the result unless one country has practically no military. Why don't you make it interesting by adding some allies, like the Iranian friendly states of Iraq and Syria into the mix? I want to know if Israel could pull off another six-day war, not that Iran needs to build a few more air defence batteries. This entire video was pretty much useless. Not only that, but you did not include Iranian bases in Syria, where conflict is happening between Iran and Israel in real life. Last but not least, you didn't even mention their fleets at all, even for the purpose of crossing them out, or their economic capacity to wage a war. Not happy about the quality of this video.

Why is Iraq not an ally of Iran? It is internationally recognized as being influenced, being the only other country in the world run by a Shia leader. The Shia Militias sponsored by Iran were also one of the main reasons for the defeat of ISIS in Iraq and the main reason for the fall of Mosul. They do have close ties. Additionally, why would Syria not let Iran use their troops in Syria? Large parts of the Syrian Army are gone from the Syrian Civil War, but they are still letting Iranian soldiers in. That argument makes no sense because you are saying Iran wouldn't do something it is already doing. Additional allies I could imagine would be Hezbollah and other terrorist groups. I'm not saying they would realistically fight at all considering the current climate, but if tensions were raised for some reason to the point of war then Binkov just made a complete cop-out video. Iran could totally drag quite a few other countries into the war. No one declares war to try and bomb someone at the very edge of aircraft range.

All Israelis between the age of 18 and 54 can be asked to serve in the IDF if Israel goes into an active war. Israel has been at was since 1948 and knows very well how to fight. Most of the Iranian military does not. Military service in Israel is three years for men and two years for women. The Israeli army stats for 2018: Total military personnel: 615,000 Fit-for-service: 3,000,000. More than the standing army of China. Last time three countries with a total of 80,000,000 citizens went to war against Israel, and the war lasted for six days... It will be a quick war... If Israel use their Nuclear weapons it will be an even quicker war... but maybe it's time to take Iran back to the stone age anyway.
One other factor to take into account is the unpopularity of the Iranian regime. Arming millions of conscripts that are not vetted ideologically could easily backfire, like in WW1 Russia.

I think you are severely downplaying the effectiveness of mig 29 and F-14. The former developed to counter the f-16 and f-15 fighter jets and the latter developed to take advantage of Phoenix Air to Air missiles which have considerable longer range than the AIM 120 and can carry more than the F-16. So Iranians would be able to enjoy engaging at a distance causing Israeli fighter jets to evade air to air missiles causing them to burn more fuel and lose altitude putting them in range of Iranian SAM's. Not only that but since Syria and Iraq are friendly with Iran they likely would act as a form of early warning for Iran giving them more time to deploy interceptors.
Syria and Iraq aren't capable of detecting a modern fighter jets, It's the Russians who helping them directly with troops and it's own equipment on the ground.

The massive misconception with most people that have zero military battle/war experience and training, just think that having a large number in military and equipment and has great jets means of win. Iran can have 1 million best jets but if it's pilots are not trained well and continually, which they are not, then the best jet and missiles doesn't matter. If the troops are not well trained then numbers mean less. The big one is, if the logistics part of the military isn't amazing, then Iran only has a chance to win if they can win within 5 days. Air defense only works if you are trained on tracking different radio waves vs aircraft and placement of radar systems tactics. Isreal is well experienced and trained in all of this.

The military intelligence between different countries is really better than the interpretations between Iran and other countries, at all, the simple issues that are seen in other analyzes are not mentioned in this film.
You should have included the recent deployment of Iranian arms and forces in Syria, that would spice things up a little. Also, I don't see what stops Israel from using Saudi airspace- they will gladfully turn a blind eye even for aerial refueling if it means the Israelis will do the risky task they don't have the guts to follow judging of how poorly they fare in Yemen.

When conflict does brake out, the most significant action might be between the IDF and Hezbollah in South-Lebanon and Iranian cronie militias fighting from Iraq and Syria. If serious about the Iranian nuclear issue, Israel might resort to a limited nuclear attack on the deep underground facilities in Natanz.
