Actually it isn’t, guardians have had the ability to change set events, quite a few times in the lore, histories that were definite became finite, guardians make their own fate … they paracausally change the world around them

@@conorkilhenny5362 paracausality is basically a fancy term for being able to bend and break reality, the vex are causal entities so they can only deal with and simulate things that are grounded in reality. you're not entirely off the mark that it's "how the vex perceive the world" but it's because they can only perceive the world in a causal way that makes paracausality unpredictable to them, and that includes both the Light and the Dark. Guardians make their own fate, because they will it to be so, and the Witness can wave their hand and instantly paper shred a guardian, ghost, and their ship in the blink of an eye because the collective wills it. That's why the Sol Divisive saw this thing they couldn't understand and decided to worship it like a deity.

@@conorkilhenny5362 no, it has to do with that paracauslity breaks the causality of the universe meaning action A does not necessarily lead to B it could jumpt to X or Y when B is expected but then if you prepare for X or Y you get G or F action. the closest thing to paracausality in real life is a Photon, if you go to study it, it will never act the same way as it would if you go and ignore it. Guardians also weild ontological abilities thanks to the light like void vortex grenades which pull everything into it. also Saint has a shotgun, the Perfect Paradox, a Lightsaber will not be able to deflect solid metal slugs. both in legends and canon slug throwers (modern style guns) have been the bane of jedi and sith for thousands of years

savathun was weekened and couldn't really defend herself. in that state, even Shaw Han wouldnt have trouble killing her a few times.

​@@J-manli Yes, Eris drained Savathun's power when she killed her, but Savathun immediately got that power back when Immaru resurrected her. Resurrection actually negates Sword Logic gains, so Savathun would have been at full power when Saint repeatedly killed her.

Saint accidentally practiced Sword Logic like the Hive. By killing her so many times, he taught her how to recover faster.

Saint 14 is way above Doom Slayer and not just in power but every way possible and saint 14 is older than Doom Slayer while Doomguy became Doom Slayer in 2016 while Saint 14 was like that since well 2014

Just knowing when and where it’s going to hit doesn’t mean you won’t. Same way you can tell a heavyweight boxer is going to hit your face, doesn’t mean you’ll automatically dodge. Also it’s basic training to learn to deflect blaster bolt, specifically when they can’t see the attacker.

@@azureheart2846 it's not about seeing but about reacting, so no Windu can't react to something that moves to irrelevant speeds, he can't block his attack. it's like the concept of trying to have the boxer trying to block a bullet that travels at speed of light or very near the speed of light it will just not happen.

Not just that. 1 Ghost could just wait until mace goes away and then appear. 2 mace has nothing against a Ghost

​@@horrorfan117correct. However, Mandalorians and other jedi hunters often use flamethrowers and shotguns to kill jedi. Can't deflect buckshot with a lightsaber, and with slugs trying to deflect one only means that instead of a bullet you are hit by a blob of white-hot molten metal. The wide spread of Destiny shotguns would also make dodging their bullets way harder, and jedi premonition won't help them as Guardians are untethered by fate so predicting the future with them around gives you wrong results.

Yeah it's crazy but Just Look at our Guardian.... We can basically solo Anime with VERY few exceptions. Also the difference between StarWars Speed and our gurdian is wild. We can literally move from A to B in Infinite space

Tell me an example of guardians being that powerful. They just seem like super soldiers to me judging by all the cutscenes

Ikora, the mentor to the warlock class, was able to toss two large singularities within seconds of each other. Osiris was said to be so strong he had a permanent radiance (basically an ability that allowed one to spam abilities and even resurrect themselves from death without their ghost). Ana Bray's Golden Gun was able to actually leave healing pools of pure light while she blasted through seemingly endless hordes of enemies. Her sister has near complete control over the embodiment of entropy. Guardians have killed gods who were conceptual entities of lies (inside their own pocket world which had the focus of all their powers), A God-King with the ability to subjugate the will of anything and make the victim their slave and A pseudo god and it's minions that had the ability to rewrite and erase beings from time itself. They waged war against a being who was the closest embodiment to war itself where fighting against its forces empowers their master. Let's not even talk about the weapons they are using which can range from a literal gun that shoots bullets from the future into the present. To a bow with an AI equivalent to a quantum supercomputer. Long story short, Guardians are the embodiment of f**k around and find out.

Windu vs Ikora might be even worse for Windu; Ikora was the first ever Guardian to go on a 25 game win streak in the Crucible and beat Shaxx in a 1v1 (IIRC it's the reason why he's missing a horn)

Ikora would just pull mace into a black hole and atomise him in a collapsing star, because that’s the level our guardians are at we can just summon that whenever warlocks specifically have insane levels of power in the light, they were inspired by Jedi, Gandalf and neo from the matrix, while hunters and titans have all manner of gadgets and skills they can flow light through to enhance their combat abilities they are immense and clever fighters a Jedi or Sith just wouldn’t stand a chance

windu gets soloed by every single one, Ikora easily outranges and outpowers mace without breaking a sweat, Osiris was likely as powerful if not more so in his prime, and Felwinter was a legendary Iron lord

Imagine there is this one jedi who finnaly bested a guardian and his explanation to how he did it was: "Warlock jump"

Saint would stomp Mace before he can do anything he is simply too fast, too broken and too powerful, and saint has quite a lot of broken hax, even in equal stats Saint 14 would destroy Mace
