It's not a question of, "Can Doom Slayer survive in the dead space universe?". It's a question of, "Can the dead space universe survive Doom Slayer?".

Given that the Doomslayer is "Incorruptible" according to his own lore and the Brother Moons rely on their signal corrupting lesser minds, I'd say the Doomslayer would be fine. The necromorphs aren't demons so they can't hurt him physically, and since he has no problem ripping cultists apart, the Unitologists have no chance either. His unending strength would likely allow him to break the markers too.

It's absolutely certain that the mental influence of the Markers and the Brethren Moons wouldn't be able to mess with the Doom Slayer But I can certainly imagine them trying to make him have hallucinations of Daisy. Which would probably just piss him off even more.

The necromorph main method of messing with his mind wouldn't work. Since demons have tried that repeatedly. He's immune to possession on top of being angelically empowered. So he doesn't need weapons to destroy necromorphs. He's essentially a perpetual motion machine that's based on opposition so overrunning and overwhelming him is out. And he's offed massive demons so brethren moon is screwed. In other words. The title should be can dead space survive doom slayer.

People seem to forget what the slayer is. You can't infect a mind if said mind is in fact rage incarnate. The Dead space universe would be a walk in the park for Doom Slayer.

Actually, there is a way to kill the ubermorph in Dead Space 2. It involves getting it near a whirling fan near the end of the game. It keeps it from regenerating, though that's not intended by the developers.

You can kill the ubermorph. I killed it by blasting it into a fan which kills it permanently.

Actually, there's this little glitch in Dead Space 2 where in chapter 15, you can technically kill the ubermorph by pushing it against the huge fan in the room before you meet Nicole one last time.

Obviously not only does he have super human strength and speed as you said he is blessed, he is also a mental fortress that the marker and brethren moon probably wouldn't ever be able to penetrate. If a simple human such as Isaac Clark can do as well as he did the Doom Slayer would quite literally walk through it.

A few corrections: One: Traditional Firearms are not ineffective against Necromorphs. What normally happens in a outbreak is that Necromorphs slowly build numbers until they can mob together and tear through any amount of resistance by rushing and overpowering all in their way. Most sentient creatures panic and don’t have the knowledge of targeting the limbs. A gun can tear off the limbs and weapons like the Seeker Rifle, Pulse Rifle, and P-Sec pistol are effective enough when you do target limbs but depending on caliber may require consistent hits to tear limbs off. Two: the bacteria/biomass used to turn Creatures into Necromorphs can actually kill a host should it be injected into the blood stream or ingested. While this method is slower it does eventually kill. Three: Very few are resistant to a Marker signal, and none alive have been proven to resist a Brethern moon’s mental assault. And the most common mental attack is hallucinations, especially of a victims departed loved ones. Doom Slayer is open to this mental attack because of Daisy regardless of dimension he is in. The question is if Doom Slayer is capable of resisting these hallucinations and is capable of breaking a marker’s grip on his mind. Four: While Doom Slayer has taken hits from large opponents in the past, a Brethern Moon is far larger than anything he has ever fought on his own and the only weapon he could conjure to kill it would be the BFG 10,000. Otherwise it would be physically impossible to Gun down a Brethern Moon. The only other way it could be done is with a gravity tether tearing a Brethern moon apart and only one at a time.

On the gameplay he shows he doesn't dismember the Hunter's legs and he is chasing him all the time, if you just cut his legs he is just following you around slowly

Necromorphs are not bulletproof, they just don't need internal organs like many traditional depictions of the undead, which is why you have to completely destroy their bodily structure, like through dismemberment or burning. The BFG 9000 fires huge plasma/energy blasts which could easily dismember or incinerate most Necromorphs.

I think the only FPS characters that can stand up to Doomguy are: 1) Serious Sam (Mental´s forces are arguably stronger than Doom´s hell and could potentially overcome Doomguy himself, so Sam could put up on a good fight) 2) Caleb from Blood (He is immortal too and knows black magic that could potentially counter Doomguy) And.... No one else i can think of to be honest, and even then, i am not so sure about Caleb.
