Hello guys as lots of comments are concerning about the filters or efficiency of this face mask against Covid-19 etc (actually don't need), here is a science video about all of that, you can check out from 4:45 - 6:10 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0ySYM4kRJVY.html (you can turn on English subtitles). Stay safe!
*_I got a few of the N95 masks like the one you held up beside the electric one. So we are wearing them when going for shopping etc but i think we should have 1 or 2 hospital grade respirators incase we need to look after a sick family member. I'm in Ireland & i was able to get all these really good N95/99 masks online for very cheap & delivered quickly from _**_GeekBuying.com_**_. Plus insurance for a couple of euro-Cannot go wrong here. I also had some N99 masks that i got in the hospital last year when there was no shortage. Tnx for the video_*

How long does the filter last to protect against covid 19? I know the video indicates 30 to 45 days against pollution, but against virus? Thank u upfront
You’re hilarious; love your antics and how animated you are! I was thoroughly entertained while being well informed in your review. I appreciate all of the many the details; I think you hit all the main points, and lastly I wasn’t expecting the high tech lab test; that was really impressive! Per your suggestion I am going to check out the Xiaomi option next. Thank you for working on this item for us. (I also just added your channel for subscription - I look forward to more!).

Another use could be an electronic cooling system over the mask, not forced air breathing. That way the breathing is a normal mask, the fans just blow air over the mask to take away heat.

From corona - I dont think so, but it would fit very well in a dusty indoor fitnesses and rooms while training and need large amount of pure air to put directly deep in your lungs.
Is it true that this mask will not prevent the coronavirus with the older filters. Will you need to get the new air filters. I see that you only have the new filters available on the Q7. Not on the q5s nor the Q5 Pro
Same doubt here.By the way, there are already new q5pro and q5s filters.FYI Geekbuying answered to me that old filters are enough, but who knows the true...
Hello GeekBuying. So I got this mask and its nice and all. wish it was a lil bigger because I think the part on your nose it hits my nose yep big nose I dont know if they going to make a bigger mask in the future. so my real question is.. how to remove the damn filter. it's just stuck in the mask :(
Hi, thanks for commenting. To remove the mask should be very easy, just take off the mask shell, then you see the filter, and then pull out it, it doesn't have any buckles or something, so should be really easy.
@@geekbuying nope it was freaking stuck in there had to use a knife to force it out. No not to break anything but now it's nice and loose enough to where I can take it out with one hand 😎
Hi. I would love to know how safe are electrical masks from China. I have my reservation on any gadget utilizing battery that has episode of exploding. I have seen something like that on other gadgets like cellphones. Thanks.
Hi, thanks for asking. During our instensive test we don't find any issues with this electric mask, please rest assured that we are doing everything to make Q5 pro safe :D
Hi. Thank you very much for the information. What is the way to clean the mask to take care that the filter lasts a month? When the battery is discharged can you continue to use it off? Do you breathe well when it is off?
Hi, thanks for asking. Actually you don't have to clean it specificly if you don't use it heavily (2-4 hours a day) it's just last 30-45 days due to the sophisticated design of the mask. Yes, you can still breath smoothly if the mask discarged :D
Hi, thanks for asking. For straps if broken then maybe the best way is to DIY one? If you buy from online (if you found one), maybe the shipping fee even costs more :D
Where do you actually state that this mask protects from the small particles in covid 19? I’m a healthcare worker and am worried that this will not be sufficient protection for me from exposure. I ordered the product already from your page but am worried. A response would be greatly appreciated
Hi Monaskull, this mask is truly sufficient for protection, please rest assured. The multi-layered structure of filter can effectively block large particles, and nanometer-scale particulates (like covid-19) adhere to the fibers by static, no virus could escape from this mask :D
According to the product website linked under the video, this mask filters particles down to 0.3 micrometers (300 nanometers). According to NIH, SARS-Cov-2 is 60-140 nm in diameter. NIH link (search in page for "diameter": www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK554776/
@@avant-punk Yes, but SINGLE particles of virus almost NEVER travel one by one. Usually they get clogged into quite hefty balls of virus particles kinda "glued" together by the water droplet they are residing into. And usually it's way more than a 500 nm.
@@avant-punk Plus HEPA (N95) standard states it should filter also way smaller particles then 100 nm. It's not obvious but looks at his curve here (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NIOSH_air_filtration_rating). This is how it works. 95 in "N95" stands for 95% filtration efficiency in the 100-300 nm region, which is most complicated for them to filter out. In the regions lower then 100nm and higher than 300 nm filtration efficiency is almost 100%. So yeah, while there is a 5% chance that single virus particle could pass, it's highly unlikely to spot single particle + it's unlikely that it will make any harm to body. PS You can search a lot of pictures with graphs from scientific papers when googling with "n95 filtration efficiency" keywords.
Yes, it's sufficient, you can search a lot of graphs from scientific papers when googling with "n95 filtration efficiency" keywords. But make sure that you follow carefully all the safety protocols. You likely to catch a virus not from directly inhaling it, but from touching your face with contaminated hands, not putting much attention to taking the mask off (you should never touch INSIDE with dirty hands) and so on. Stay healthy!
Hi Thanks for this Video. Can you comment on the Q7 mask? I plan to purchase this but you said its uncomfortable in the nose bridge afrer 20mins. Maybe q7 is a bit bigger?
Hi Jose, thanks for asking. Q7 is almost the same as this one in terms of the size. To be honest, for this sort of electric mask, weight and noise are always issues when you are wearing them, but it's always good to have one or two of these at your home for emergency.
Hi, thanks for asking. We don't suggest for 8-year-old children though, it's a bit heavy for them. For kids we highly recommend this face mask, cute, effective and much cost friendly: bit.ly/2KE9Oxk Stay safe!
@@TimYoshi Not really speaking from experience, but just hypothesising here. I believe that the purpose of the electric fan is to provide the inside of the mask with positive pressure, so that fresh air is constantly being brought into the mask and your exhaled air is pushed out. Just my two cents.
I've found out some important information about the filters of this mask. Its an image that RU-vid doesnt allow me to link, which explain the different between the old and new filters)Do this mean that they filters you sell with this mask till now are unuseful against covid 19? It's a very important issue that you should clear up,please
Hello, the filters we are selling are definitely useful and effective against covid-19. The multi-layered structure of our filter can effectively block large particles, and nanometer-scale particulates (like covid-19) adhere to the fibers by static, no virus could escape from this mask, please rest assured. :D
@@geekbuying Thank u for your reply. My main worry is that the filter used in this video looks to be the old one and oficial info indicates that such filter lacks of electrostatic film nor meltdown, meanwhile the new one is 100% useful against covid 19 fue to it includes both features

@@geekbuying Hi, im a little shocked at this moment. Please could you be so kind to clear me up why you hid my commentary asking about the filters? I think i was very educated asking a doubt, wasn't I? Just don't forget about other anti-viral precautions. Like washing hands, don't touching your face, don't touching the INSIDE of the mask with dirty hands and so on.

@@geekbuying I'm not saying the product is crap or rubbish. I'm talking about relating this to the sensitive coronavirus subject. That's not going to prevent you from contracting the coronavirus. You're just using that title and subject to drive more traffic to your channel.
@@GeekyStuff usually this kind of mask have their official report who says how many % stops. Covid-19 is big , between 4 and 5 micrometers and a mask N95 or FFP2 stops around 95% or FFP3 stops more than 99% bigger than 2.5 . So enough said.
Thanks for the review Geek Buying! You're video was amazing especially because you provided several negatives about this mask although I've noticed that the mask clips to the back of your head which doesn't seem all that bad, I understand how that could be a problem. I was more worried about my ears but it looks like that's not an issue, and unless you are running around rioting it shouldn't be an issue for speech. I loved the exhale valves at the bottom!
