Magnus rated number 700 in the world, Kasparov number 1. 28 years age difference and the first time Kasparov has ever played agains someone that young. The rest is history.
Beerdy - Bruce Lee Central Kasparov played arrogantly, like he was playing a 2400 not someone stronger, he underestimated Carlsen. Would have played differently had he known how strong he was. You can see in the cheeky moves he plays.
Kapsarov played pretty freely for all of his games with young Magnus. He didn't go for main lines, he just.. not mucked around.. but didn't play at the same level he would vs. someone higher. He likely knew Magnus was a real prodigy and wanted to give him some hope. Kasparov was, mostly, a pretty good guy.
I've watched the whole video and i didn't even see the dog, i've only realized something happened when i've read the comments. It seems i'm focused enough to play chess ahhahaha

Hi agadmator, I really love your channel and have been following for a long time! There is one spot at 3:40 where you said if bishop is captured, queen captures knight. But isn’t knight captures on f5+ - Kg7 Qh7+ - Kxf6 Qh6+ - Kf5 g4# - or am I going crazy because I spent a long time analyzing this and I’m not a high rated player but I can’t see how this wouldn’t work please help lol
in 3.36 if pawn captures bishop then knight captures pawn and with check. if the king goes for h8 queen h7 would be check mate. if the king goes for g8 then there is forced, check mate in 3 moves. king g7, Queen h7 check, king captures knight, Queen captures in h6 with check, king only can go to f5 and g4 is check mate.
On the RU-vid app, I can't even access this video in your list of videos... I only found it from my notifications on Twitter and RU-vid... It just doesn't show up on the videos tab...maybe it takes time idk But the latest video I see on the list is 13- year old Carlsen sets a deadly trap for Kasparov
FUN FACT: You know in this game kasparov once took sometime to sum up his move; during that time Carlsen was bored and he looked at other tables of games.!😨
Question, in the final position why not hold on to the passed pawn for a bit and let the g2 pawn fall, and see if you can convert the passed pawn? regardless of which piece is used to capture g2 it leaves the pawn unattacked and able to move up
agadmator people like your vidios cuz there are two option in it , watch your fantastic explanation plus that dog , make sure he is always there so we have some time to look at him ,
Agadmator,I have watched a lot of your videos and am a big fan of them :) I was wondering, when did you start playing chess? And when did you become serious about it?
Perhaps unofficially in training matches at some point, but they've only played three official games, all in the 2004 Reykjavik Rapid, Kasparov leads 2.5 to 0.5.
