I would say Phil is more like the Captain America of Agents of Shield. He always gets the job done, stands for he believes in and has many corny jokes. Plus he had a Energy Shield
That would be weird imo, I think it makes sense for him to be at Tony's funeral, that is where him AND Hill should have been. Really sucks writers didn't work well with the MCU writers to make it all canon
This arc is full of great callbacks to both The Winter Soldier and previous episodes/seasons of AoS itself, that particular quote is from the Season 1 finale.
who thinks that ward will be given a new body , with his new mind with the looking glass.i hope so its the only way to bring him back. and if they dont do this its cause the actor does not wanto come back..
This reminded me heavily of the part in The Winter Soldier when Captain America spoke over the intercoms of the triskellion. encouraging others to stand up.
@@surajsureshnair no. Coulson is just like everyone else who look up to Captain Rogers, like every one of us. The difference is, he earned that to respect him, look up at him exactly like Captain Rogers. This is why Phil Coulson (and Captain Rogers) is so popular and likable characters. Because they represent the PERSON, who everyone want to be. He is the example that someone who respects, can be respected as much as he respects his own hero.
For some reason it makes me think of the old Hair Club commercial - "I'm not only the Hair Club president, I'm also a client." ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IuRLGdGnqSU.html
Actually, it depends on the universe in question. The MCU is as Philip said, if I remember correctly, but in the Marvel/Disney Cartoon Universe has Iron Man, as well as the Hulk, Thor and a few minor Avengers (Ant Man and the Wasp) starting the Avengers.
In the episode Beginning of the End (S1 E22) there is Fury and Coulson's exchange on Coulson being brought back to life. Nick Fury: It was a break glass in case of emergency situation. Phil Coulson: Yes, but that emergency was supposed to be the fall of an Avenger. Nick Fury: Exactly. Basically, Fury regards Coulson as an Avenger. I do too.
Oh crap. I finally get why Thor says "Son of Coul." Because his name is Coulson & Thor would be like "He has the word Son in his name. He must be Coul's Son." After all the years I get it.
Son of Coul, the hero we deserve but not the one we need right now. Oh, who the fuck am I kidding, have you SEEN what the hell is going on in America right now? We definitely *need* Coulson, too.
Yes - even in a reality where Coulson initially chose not to join SHIELD, in the end he found his way to it, to fight the good fight. This is who he was meant to be.
Actually he did hear it. He mentions vaguely that an Agent of SHIELD visited fresh out of college and made him an offer. Nick probably was the guy who made the offer and the speech.
Victor Orozco it was definitely Nick because he wasn't director yet so one of his jobs as an agent was probably looking for worthy recruits for the academy
Already miss this show. The best was the LMD/Madame Hydra/Evil Fitz season. It had everything: intense action, great characterization, exquisite dialog, brilliant acting, incredibly emotional character arcs.
May Hydra remain that true adversary to SHIELD and bring in new villains (famous and lesser known) for Coulson, Johnson and company to face. Agents Of SHIELD is to television what The Avengers are to feature films.
I am from Russia. And you guys can't imagine how everything shown in Agend of S.H.I.E.L.D is 100% accurate represents everything happening in my country.
Oh we can imagine. It's creeping into Western democracies as well. Because corruption and the right of the strongest to do as they please is a powerful attraction to those that normally would never get a chance. The weakminded, the incompetent, the lazy and the indolent... but as long as they suck up to powerful corrupt entities they can share in the spoils. But people don't take it forever and thus revolutions are started, and regimes toppled. Remember Ceaucescu and his invulnerability to any attempt to topple him? His private bodyguard of 10000 handpicked and heavily armed soldiers, raised from birth to defend him? It lasted all of two weeks when the facade began to crumble before he and his wife were put up against the wall and shot. Putin will face the same fate. He's badly losing a war he started himself and his cronies don't like it one bit.
final scene: a final copy of the virus to destroy the framework and how to infiltrate it is given as a usb flashdrive to a woman. shield agent: what does it mean, ma'am? the woman turns around and is revealed as maria hill. maria hill: hope....
To think. Agent Phil Coulson was written up as a side character with no history. Just had maybe one line at most in just the first Iron Man movie. To being reworked and fleshed out more before even the movie was finished filming. To now being a man that is not only a bigger badass than most super powered beings. Phil was also retroactively added directly into the comics. As an original character. First time ever to be done for Marvel. After all. You should fear Iron Man, Hulk, and the others who come and go to be Avengers. Yet. You should be terrified of Phil Coulson. A man that kill someone with a donut. I do not even think Bullseye could pull that off and he has a power set to kill anyone with anything. All with pinpoint accuracy.
I would say Phil is more like the Captain America of Agents of Shield. He always gets the job done, stands for he believes in and has many corny jokes. Plus he had a Energy Shield
I am again and again listening this sentence I am not only a history teacher. I am Phill coulson and I am an agent of shield. Amazing words Amazing sound track Emotional moments. love this
@@noidparanoid1 "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter, Inhumans, and Runaways have all been added to the “Marvel Legacy Movies and Series” section of Disney+ - indicating these Marvel shows don’t take place within the MCU." -The Inverse

DarthSpeedForce brett dalton has expressed thay he wouldn't mind being back on the show. we can only hope! ward has always been my favorite and seeing him as the good guy once again is to perfect!
I don't think ward should come back honestly. He was my favorite villain and seeing him in this new light is very rewarding as a long time fan, but they ended his arc so well in the previous season. Bringing him back for this arc makes sense as this is what if, but bringing him back full time in the real world I believe would disservice the character and feel tacked on
The Ward we knew as the Hydra traitor is over his story is long done but if the Ward in the Framework does come into the real world I would be interested in seeing his story
They need to bring Coulson back for Infinity War, if not to fight, than at least to give everyone the courage and strength to fight Thanos. I would be happy even if he just appeared as a video recording, giving a great speech like this one, letting the Avengers know that he's alive, giving them the drive to fight. EPIC.
That plot would be great to bring Coulson back, not to fully push the Avengers, but to give them an ounce of hope to push on against an unbeatable Thanos. And, millions of fans are hoping for Quake, SHIELD and The Defenders, at least cameos.
I was watching this and my mom was outside my room doing stuff and she could hear the audio and she doesn't exactly know Marvel and AoS that well so she thought that Hydra was Trump's new government branch because she heard the words "alternative facts", "fear", and "there are more of us than there are of them." So she was like "Is this CNN's new journalist or whatever?" lmao
i dont get why people didnt like this show, the writing was fantastic and the acting was top notch for a majority of the time. granted i came into it late but i binged the hell out of it and never thought "oh well this sucks, delete from watch list". i hate that it got removed from the MCU
Revan Nope. I’ve always shared this opinion. Coulson saved the world from Hive while the Avengers were having their family feud in a parking lot. Before I get hate comments, yes, I still liked Civil War.
At least Framework had shown Ward's good side, that he can still be a good guy, from season 2 i wanted to see him on the good side. Too bad that he can't be good in actual reality.
In the real world, they were kept away from that fact. In the Framework, since Phil never joined S.H.I.E.L.D, he wouldn't be dealing with Loki in the Avengers.
The Ending is similar to Iron Man 1 *Iron Man (2008)* Truth is... I am Iron Man. *Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - All the Madame's Men* Because the truth is... I am not just a history teacher. My name is Phil Coulson. And I am an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Uurrgghhh I just watched this episode for the first time and mannn I have soo many feels right now!! 😭 first of all, Ward in the framework is a blessing and I honestly love him so much, Tripp being in this season me me cryyy and Coulson’s speech made me bawllllll🥺🥺🥺🥺💛💛💛💛
