Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in the last 3rd half of 2023 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?

Currently I'm just being smart and frugal with my money, I'm in the green 47% over the last 23 months and l've accumulated over $70K in pure profits from DCA’ing into stocks, ETFs, dividends and futures. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.
completely agree. I have been consistent with my profit regardless of the market conditions. I got into the market early in 2019 and the constant downtrends and losses discouraged me, so I sold off. I got back in December 2020 and this time with guidance from an investment adviser who was recommended by a colleague!!

The biggest problem for Nvidia is not competitors catching them. It's the fact that there will be a time when all the data centers will have bought everything they need.
@@RajDeelish But data & storage grows exponentially, most big corps will never buy enough to satisfy their needs. Not only that, keep in mind that most people in charge aka middle- and upper management are non-technical folks who can easily get finessed into "upgrading" their infrastructure.

These folks HAVE to justify their bet. Remember how the street treated Apple for years while it reported multiple quarter declining rev? "Not that bad. it's Apple". Nvdia is the new darling to them. They can't come out say anything negative. They won't poo poo on their own table.
That's because NVIDIA is the stock of the future and there isn't anything bad to say about them. You will learn that over the next 5 years grasshopper.
The insider probably already positioned themselves already. This is basically an announcement of another big earnings season or aka gambling session so the gamblers can place their bets and the house will always win.
