Fiddler is awesome I used to play the violin not fiddle LOL but I am a fiddle loving want to be cowgirl listen Texas I love me some real country fiddle ‼️😁
@@BradyAlley George Straight made the song a hit. Just because someone wrote it doesn't always make it a hit song. So yea Terry Stratford should be credited but Geirge Straight made it a well popular hit song.
American Country Music Carries On in Baguio City Philippines. We love you George and all American country star both old and new. God bless the USA and Cordillera Administrative Region
Great job. He really gave the respect to the song it deserves. He didn't wear a baseball hat or show boat. He stood up there and sang that song like you should.
@Huawei sucks sheisse all in time my friend all in time, when they grow up eventually country music is what everyone falls in love with. When I was younger and didn't understand music I missed out a lot but I'm thankful that country music still can bring joy and serenity in this present world where they focus more on promoting a modelling career rather than the quality and originality. Only a few of us are left who understands and feels music and instruments and I feel obligated to teach the younger generation about the importance of it and that really defines what music is all about. Good day to you sir and God bless.
listen to the original by Terry Stafford (who also wrote the song). It's a really good version (I actually picked up a few things from his version for when I do the song in karaoke now). Chris LeDoux (the first cover of the song before George) was ok. George is the best though! Stafford had backup singers. LeDoux had harmonica. Strait had the steel guitar and fiddle. Steel guitar and fiddle for the win!
Kenny is about one of the best country singers ever far as I'm concerned any dresses properly you know meaning he makes it all fit together and he does a great job but his voice is phenomenal for sure ‼️😁
Wow!! I swear Kenny can sing the phone book and it would sound great! He’s my favorite country singer!! Simply awesome!! Can’t wait for him to get back to Boston!! I’ll be there for sure!!!
Hey teen as boy 50 I'm one of those Baby boomers and I live in Texas and which really has nothing to do with anything except I love where I live but I'm not originally from here but 1967 so I'm I'm pretty much been here all my life but the point was I just think that Kenny is one of the all-time best country singers I mean there's lots of good ones out there Alan Jackson's my very favorite George Jones you know but Kenny man he's I think you said he could sing the phone book and he just great I totally agree
I keep coming back to this man Kenny all dressed in white WOWEE Your the Man Kenny George Straight would be proud Bravo 👏 standing ovation 👏 we love you Kenny May God bless you truly’ love ❤️ April Rayne
Man you need to see the KING do this ONE LIVE, I had the chance to see George in Tulsa Oklahoma and HE OPENED with AMARILLO BY MORNING, WITH THE SUN 🌞 COMING UP BEHIND HIM AND IT WAS AMAZING AND THE FIDDLE'S MY GOD, IT WAS JUST UNBELIEVABLE, for some people would want to kill to see the KING OF ALL COUNTRY IN PERSON, I would LOVE to jump at the chance to see GEORGE AGAIN BECAUSE HE IS THE GREATEST THAT THERE IS
I been to 3 of his concerts and ALMOST got to see in at his Rodeo, and each concert was amazing. He likes the square style stage and sings to each side. God blessed me cause he sang ALL my favorites to ME (I was in the 1st row). sighhhhh
I can never understand that when someone famous does a cover song, all the trolls come out of the woodwork saying who did it better. It's not a contest. Kenny has a unique voice and nowhere in this performance did I hear him say, I'm going to do this song better than George.
TheGhost5600, But the thing is George Strait is also doing a cover of it as well. He didn’t write the song nor was he the original singer. He’s doing a cover just like Kenny is doing it. Personally I like the Mongolian cowboy’s version the most.
it brought tears to my eyes for some reason. two of my most favorite country singers singing same some. (I heard it first and fell in love with the song from George but Kenny taking on it had me overwhelmed).
Even though I like this version of the song, and I really like Kenny Chesney, the original cannot be replaced. I didn't even know who the original singer was, but he had a richness to his voice that cannot be duplicated.
Wow I am blown away, never heard Kenney Chesney sing this song. And I am a huge Kenney Chesney fan. A huge 21 gun salute to you. And a great tribute to my cousins in Texas all TAM Aggies Raymond, Marylyn, Joanie, Leonard, and Will. Love you guys and had so much fun in 1970s miss you and my Aunt Mary and Uncle Ray!!! Aunt Mary let me drive their brand new 1978 Pontiac Bonneville Brougham ,wow what a car right to Austin. I bought the same model with 45,000 miles the same color brown here in Florida in mint condition lost it in a rear end collision.
Only Zé Ramalho from Brazil, to identify this beautiful song and adapt a wonderful lyrics, as well as the original which is magnificent! Thank you very much Zé and very grateful George Stait for this wonderful composition!
smtbigelow I was here when he sang that song! If it hadn’t of been for Terry Stafford, from Amarillo, having written it and recorded it first, neither Kenny nor King George would be doing it!!!💜
robert rodriguez oh my gosh I just clicked out of that video and was amazed. This song means so much more to me now that I live in Texas. Best decision I ever made was to move here.
This is how a cover is supposed to be, he just got up there and sang it. Didn't overdo the song, didn't fuck it in the ass, just got up there and sang it. Might I add he still found a way to own it. Nice job, Kenny. I'm sure King George was very much in approval.
I'm from Mexico, I really like this genre the country is very clean in his lyrics and in the videos I love little old modern trucks they use, I have a 1979 ford truck and have seen many in the videos do this good grace music.
Zé Ramalho ao editar essa musica trocou um local mágico pelo mágico e adorável mistério que toda mulher carrega em sua intocável alma!!! Um ser maravilhoso entre a serpente e a estrela!!!
I'm from the Philippines, and I love American country music. Good job Kenny, you sunged one of George Strait's greatest song. And also, it's not Texans that knew George's song but we know it here in CAR Region of the Philippines
