An an American, can I ask why? I was low key surprised that it isn’t America and Britain who are shipped since we have so much history together and literally say our country’s are in a ‘special relationship’. With Russia, we were in a Cold War for half a century, which led to it’s collapse, so I don’t think our country’s exactly have the best relationship (especially currently with the squabble in Ukraine) and Americans really don’t like Putin. I do kind of wish that we could put our differences aside and become ally's because that would be effin boss!

But for Russia and America I was a sucker for a enemies to lover's trop. So I hope this will explain why
