The entire time watching this, I kept thinking, I've seen this story before, only with different people, then I remembered it! This exact same scenario played out with another Russian adoption back in the late 2000's only it was a seven year old boy and the family was in Tennessee, Shelbyville to be exact! They ended up taking the "child", named, Artyem Saveliev, to the Nashville International Airport, bought him a one way ticket back to Russia and put him on the flight by himself! They told pretty much the same stories about him threatening to kill the family, trying to poison them, finding him standing over their bed at night holding a knife and so forth, except I don't remember anything about it actually being an adult posing as a kid. Maybe someone needs to investigate the Russian adoption agencies and see if they're sending their real problem kids to the US and other western countries as a way of dumping them onto someone else.
Or that story could have been like this one actually turned out to be. Which Joe Rogan is dumb enough maybe not to know but she actually is a child. The dental records and certain other things have proved that. It was the parents that were pulling one over trying to send the child back. And it's very plausible that the same thing was true in the story that you said and they just made all that shit up so they could send a child back that they didn't want. Read your own story back to yourself does it sound very likely? Don't believe everything that you hear especially from people like Joe Rogan. But to be honest with you you sound like a Hook line & sinker kind of guy to me.
@@aznative_ Don't insult people on the internet you've never met based on one short comment. That shows that you jump to conclusions quickly and without all the evidence. I never said I believed either story at all, only that they sounded almost exactly alike, with the parents involved telling the same or very similar tales. A thorough investigation into all aspects would necessarily include investigation of the foreign adoption agencies so that no stone is left unturned and all angles are considered. The parents have been/are being investigated already, so that only leaves the foreign elements to consider, especially seeing as how that is the only proven common thread here. I had thought that point obvious, perhaps that is where I made my mistake: giving the audience to much credit.

Similar situations involving actual children adopted from Romania have occurred due to the orphaned children being raised in an environment where it was government policy for them never to be hugged, rocked or comforted as babies. These children developed attachment disorder which means they never develop human emotion or the ability to bond with others personally. Literally incapable of understanding the concept of love, they grow up with a complete lack of empathy or conscience similar to psychopaths but without the ability to charm or manipulate. The neural pathways that would normally lead to emotional attachment and a value for others were severed from birth. These children were adopted by unsuspecting Americans who found that they were incredibly cold and often violent, in some cases, life threatening towards themselves, their pets and biological children.
You should take this down. This is so cruel against a young woman who came from a horrible circumstance in a Ukranian orphanage, probably not knowing English, or her actual age or birthday. This is cruel.

At first I was surprised at how many people fell for the parents story, but it makes sense given how big the media sensation was around the possibility of something like that happening and the blatant misinformation being spread. People were more intrigued by the idea than whether or not it was actually true.

It is a horror movie... literally. There was a movie with this plot. So, the State of Indiana is/was trying to get the couple extradited back to the USA from Canada. The argument is that the couple didn't want to have her anymore and she is really a little girl. So, they abandoned her, using the movie plot as their inspiration to get rid of her.
