This off-the-grid tiny home on wheels is absolutely stunning. Designed to resemble a heritage style home, it’s been beautifully crafted and is packed full of clever design features. Built by husband and wife duo Cera and Oliver, this home has given the couple a brand new lease on life.

After purchasing a large home in town, Cera and Oliver found themselves in a position where they were constantly working to be able to sustain their lifestyle. With mortgage payments and home upkeep, they suddenly found themselves in a situation where they were no longer able to enjoy the things they used to love doing, such as getting out into nature and enjoying sports. That’s when the couple decided to downsize and build their dream tiny house on wheels.
The style of the home was inspired by their original heritage home in Armstrong, British Columbia. The shape, materials and colour all being borrowed from their previous dream home, to create a smaller version more appropriately sized to their lifestyle. The home was designed to be completely off the grid, allowing the couple to capitalise on the fact that their home is on wheels, opening it up to a wider variety of parking spaces and potentially even allowing them to travel in their home if they chose to.
With Oliver having a background in Construction, and Cera a keen eye for design, the couple decided to share their new-found love of tiny house living by starting their own tiny house building company. @@stacym735 Sorry you got such a spiky response to such a lovely comment - I was thinking the same as you!! There seem to be zero signs of wear and tear which, no matter how well we look after our homes and keep the place clean, there always seems to be little things that happen which gradually add to a slightly 'aged' appearance of a property, especially one as small as this tiny house! They've done a wonderful job with it and it definitely looks absolutely brand new, rather than 2 years old! I live in a little studio flat built in the 70s but was done-up not long before I moved in, and while I'm slightly obsessive with my cleaning and way I look after it (my first time living alone so you can imagine how house-proud I feel), there's still bits and pieces where you can tell it's not brand-new refurbished, and I've only been here 8 months!

I love all the windows and natural light too, but being a very private person who likes her privacy , that could get to be a problem. I know they are in the woods in the middle of nowhere, but u never know who could peek in or stumble onto the property. They could get robbed that way too. Very easy to see inside into all their possessions. Windows are gorgeous but they need to put curtains or mini blinds or something to guard their stuff and their privacy.

I want to write a comment about the fact that middle class people can no longer afford a middle class home without working themselves to death or living in debt... but I also want to mention the ability of people to adapt. Many people who chose tiny houses are thinking outside the box and rethinking what it means to be fulfilled and finding along the way that lots of material goods just don’t lead to contentment or spiritual fulfillment and adapting to small spaces can lead to inner growth. Good Job humans 😌

Because we are living in an illusion that we are middle class, most of people are considered poor if you put finance comparison and perspective.

It's not that "We no longer can afford...". Middle class has never been able to afford to buy a home since 1920s on. But back in the days people will make a sacrifice, save like crazy every penny, have a garden to save on food, buy a remodel house, live in one room while remodeling the rest of the house for 4-5 years, save money along the way and in 20-25 years have the house paid off. Who makes these sacrifices today?

Living in a tiny house seems ideal, but it also is attached to the understanding that you are fine with not having kids. There is not really a way to have kids and a house that small. No place for the children to live or sleep.

The BEST tiny home I’ve ever seen. Personally would rather have a beautifully tiled shower than the tiny tub. Most brilliant idea is the windows on both sides of the bd & solar above. It opens up what is otherwise a claustrophobic bedroom.

Yeah but I have noticed there home is smaller than average, but there land is always so much LARGER!!!! I don’t get the tiny house craze, it is Nice but the livability factor is just not there, 20 feet is like having a small RV basically, after awhile it would just become cramped as you couldn’t really buy new stuff because you’d have no place to store it. Plus their isn’t really any resale value in a tiny home.

I have downsized several times, and feel better for it each time. Now I have a very small three bdrm cottage and I have two grown children and a grandchild living with me. 900 feet is as small as we can go, but two of them are building none movable tiny's on our small property. We are all sharing a septic tank and the garden. I love it, and my grown daughter is looking at moving back as soon as one of those tiny's is finished so it frees up a bedroom. LOL I guess, at 76, I feel safer with family around. To each his own.

@@martharamsey2297 but comparing 900 square feet to under 300 just isn't the same. We had a full size dining table that seated 8 with the extension, a full size couch, two chairs, entertainment center and 3 bedrooms with 980 square feet in our first home. I think there are a few that can live in under 300 square feet long term, but the majority of these young people eventually upgrade into a space that holds a child or two and their belongings or at least allows for them to have a few friends or family over for dinner. This couple lives on family property. Is there a main house where they can go up and join others for family dinner? Then sure this would be attractive, at least for a time. Imagine living in a space where your whole family, that you seem to love and enjoy being around, couldn't actually congregate for a get together.

Martha Ramsey Don’t get me wrong, if I was by myself or it was just me and my wife and that’s really what we both wanted and was financially right then I’d figure out a way to make it work, but I have stayed in an RV for a extended amount of time and it got cramped after awhile. Then again it’s not a home but an RV but I feel like it wouldn’t be to far from it.

I love this house.. I think out of all the tiny homes I’ve seen, this is definitely my favorite. It gives you that bigger home feel, and the designs are very meticulous… 😍 The only thing is, I’d have to put some curtains, or shades on the windows downstairs for privacy at night..

You can't buy a car, not even a used car for $1,000, you can't buy any place to live for $1,000, you can't buy a college education for $1,000, you can't buy the windows that are in this tiny house for less than a $1,000 and the trailer that this tiny house is built upon could easily cost $6,000 to $10,000 depending on the size and whether it was custom designed specifically for a tiny house. In fact, you can easily spend more than a $1,000 for a TV, a refrigerator, a computer, a cell phone, a digital tablet, an e-bike, a basic vacation, and many, many more items, so your comment makes no sense to people who have a realistic understanding of what things cost.

This is hands-down, THE most beautifully designed and executed tiny home I have seen yet. That's not to throw so many of the other creative and gorgeous ones under the bus, but to me, this one is absolutely magical. The "vaulted" ceiling is a bold move, not using that useable space for storage, but man does it have an indelible effect on the atmosphere. I applaud this couple - you guys designed the tiny home of my dreams here! When I heard 15 windows, I knew these were my kinds of people. Let there be light!

I’m 26 and my husband is 28 and we just bought our first home and had our first baby and we it’s sad because we are both working just to pay the bills...makes me think we should just do something like this. Wanderluster Seems like everyone I know is just working to pay bills. It sad. But, 85,000 is expensive to me. Even though this tiny house is AMAZING, that’s STILL an investment that could cause major debt esp if you only have a single income. For a couple not too bad

This is one of my favourite tiny homes. Certainly from an exterior perspective, I love the look of this home the best. It is stunning inside and out. And the tiny bath is amazing!

The stair storage is one of the best I've seen on this channel, as well as the skylight covers! This is one of the best Tiny Houses! Although the $80,000 price tag was a bit high.

They could mean $80,000 Canadian, which translates to about $60,000 U.S. Still a lot, but a respectable amount considering the level of detailing and building materials.

I've seen this before, but this is one of the best tiny houses I've seen! Love the furnishings and the finishes and all the decor; love the colour on the cabinets, it's just really nice; the bathroom is beautiful and the sink in there, love how big it is. I hope you're still loving this little place, it's so nice. Outside is beautiful too, just really done so well. Perfect setting for this too, you have a great home and beautiful place for it too. I would actually live in a place like this, even if it's this little, lovely! (from Sandi not Frank)
