Thanks so much again, Jenna, for the feature! It was an absolute honor. & gosh you guys are making us blush over here with these sweet comments. Many many thanks & love to all!! 🌊🤍🤗
Your lifestyle is so inspiring, especially to all of us who love water. Well done! And I completely agree about the couch. That’s the most important piece of furniture in any house IMHO, and that one is perfect - depth, width, color, material - especially for life on the water.
I really and truly enjoyed this tour - Brandon and Sarah were very articulate and informative about so many different aspects of their life on the water, and they were very likable and easy to listen to, as well. They've made a beautiful tiny home there! This left me smiling, and I wish the three of them the best, always. 😊
Hi, Brandon, Sarah, sweet story, looks fun. I would have raised the bed up in the Air over cabinets, and have storage below it. As using this whole room, build a big 7' X 7' ? U shape storage under the Bed & the top of your handmade cabinets ? would carry the bed, & both your weight while sleeping. Then your washer, dryer, extra sm fridge, & a freezer could have a location out of the way, but easy access, & way more storage for clothes, extra pots, pans, microwave, toaster oven, & other appliances, & food Storage. Get some Rolling carts, One could hold your microwave, Big toaster oven with a butcher block top to prepare food on that & can roll it away, and store under the bed. Plus way more Food storage under the bed in the cabinets. Very easy to do that. The bed could set down on top of these storage cabinets, & when sleep time, roll it all under the bed. But, maybe the bed could be set up to able to raise it up to the ceiling in the day time, as for easy access to all your storage under the bed, & sleep time lower the bed onto the top of the cabinets. ? Then you could get your Tub shower space in your Bathroom, by moving the washer dryer under the bed area. ;-) Your story makes me wish I was young again. Enjoy your life, it looks fun. :-) I have vision, as I am a Master builder, I drew out some Tiny House plans. Some of the best times in my life, as a child, I spent with my grand Parents in their 23' travel trailer. As I thought of Buying a Lot on a Lake some day, and building a Timber frame home on it, that is when I can get the $ to do it. HA, Ha, ha. . . :-) Maybe I can find a nice rich gal friend that likes my idea, & she can fund it, and I can build it. ;-) P.S. If you put up a few clothes lines outside, then you can hang your clothes to Air dry, and no wrinkles. Ya, on the no rain, no snow days. ;-) My granny used clothes lines on days she washed clothes, sheets, or towels, & saved energy when living in their travel trailer, as she would wash at a coin washing machine place, and part dry there, to take back, and hang to air dry. Many times getting me to help her hang, & fold the sheets when dry. No hammock ? Any good fishing in that Lake. ? If your hubby dives, you could have a under water gil net, that hangs off some long poles attatched to under the house boat, and pick some fish later after its dark. ;-) Patriot Dave. Go look in to the NESARA PLAN, find it, and print it out, and read about it, as it's still not to late to invest for the crash. Search, N.E.S.A.R.A. & GESARA It was a plan to Save America, by J.F.K. and Donald J. Trump picked up the torch, & backed by our US Military to Save us. The plan is going down daily, hidden by the Mayhem of the deep state left, that's trying to destroy America, and stop them from saving us. Read about the Revalue, or RV, as all countries dollars are to be backed by Gold, and so all dollars will be set at $1. To $1. So buy say the Vietnam Dong now, and right after the Banking crash is the Reset or RV, and you can cash in your foreign currencies at the Bank or redemption centers. As today at a CXI foreign currency exchange for $1200. USD you can buy $20 million Vietnam Dong currency. Or buy some IRAQ Dinar as it will reset for dollars value as prior to the IRAQ War we hear. At the Reset they should be worth its face value in US dollars, or more. Take a gamble, buy some, sit on it, and wait. Now if it does not happen, you can sell it back to a currency exchange. Not much of a gamble, but you can buy a castle, or build one after the Reset. Not the great reset, as that's a deep state democrat steal your wealth plan. The Dems may try to scare you into cashing in, and steal your new wealth. But we hear the military will step in to take them down, & save us. Do not cash in on the Dems great Reset plan. Listen to Trump, and his new Rallies videos. As at one Trump Rally he spoke about him, and Melania going to go do the RV. How he talked many did not understand him, and thought he was losing it. He uses code allot in his speeches. As hint, hint for those that know whats going on. Start following it all on RU-vid. Search for, and & Follow dinar chronicles, or dinar blog by a google search, join to get their daily posts, theres many Patriots with daily videos on You tube about Nesara, and the RV or Reset. Search in 2015' Trump bought $60 Billion or more of the IRAQ Dinar, as he spent $30. Million USD. Its public knowledge search it. As the Revalue it's coming very soon. The IRAQ Dinar may cash in for much more than face value into USD. Say you bought a million Dinar for $1400. USD, and it may cash in for close to $4 million USD at the Reset. The Dong maybe the better investment, or buy some of both. ;-) The Stock market will crash, and banks will too, but within days, to a week they will reopen, and it will be safe to do business there at like Wells Fargo Banks. Many of the posters on RU-vid will keep you informed, so subscribe to many posters posts on it all, as it's going to go down soon. I have payed it forward, Good Luck. You two are obviously highly intelligent and capable. I hope you know how rare it is to have a life together that is this beautiful. Your home is everything it needs to be and more. Just wonderful.
I LOVE factual stories that prove people in America still have grit, work ethics and "pioneer spirit"! They use their brains, learn skills and just face life, creating a way to "Survive and Thrive!" My husband and I bought a very rural piece of land with a shell of a half finished house on it in our early 30s, right before 9-11 happened. We finished that home and lived there, growing our food, hunting and fishing and basically living like pioneers, even heating our home with a woodstove. We also drove 100 miles round trip each day, to maintain our full-time jobs in the cities. We did it for 30 years. We paid off mortgage in 7 years, had well, septic, so only bills were electric and property taxes, vehicles gas and maintenance and insurance...we loved it!
@@rebeccahall4961Why bother to get on here to just be nasty bc you’re obviously jealous… grow up you’re not a kid anymore plus no one likes a whiner. You can do exactly what these people have done so knock it off.
Such a great young couple! Love Love their very nice tiny home! I have wanted to live on the water all of my adult life. I'll be 72 yr old this year. Most probably not going to happen. Seeing and listening to this young couple's tiny water home and life here brought me so much joy!!! So happy for them!! They've given me hope for our future generations💗 Bless you all💞
@@vonheisemany "homes" featured on this channel are not lived in or rarely lived in. I've seen several videos that show a wealthy person's "second home" that is really used as an Air B&B for income. I don't want to see someone's vacation home, much less a hotel. The video starts by giving the impression that the people who own it live there full time; then at some point we find out that they don't live there permanently, and the rest of the time it's an Air B&B. Its disappointing, because instead of seeing people "living an alternative lifestyle" we get an ad for someone's business. That's not what I came here to watch.
A long time ago, my late husband and I were dreaming of a life like yours, with a house boat and all. Then things changed. I can’t make this dream into reality on my own, so seeing your video of your beautiful home, I am so happy for you both. Enjoy your good life!
I think you can, if you really want to put it into action. I'm well past 80 years, been alone since my 4 kids left the nest, eons ago, so I backpacked the world for 4 years, on a widdows pension, in my 70's, then ended up 9 years ago, living in Hungary. This video has inspired me to go check out the requirements, in our local area, on the lake, where there are a lot of house boats of various sizes...some with "garage doors" under, for their jet boats to moore in!
I bet, watching a thunderstorm and rain across the lake with woodburning stove on that comfy couch with a hot cup of coffee is the most comfy thing ever!
What a beautiful couple! And doggie. They have it all figured out and at a young age---I think their home is perfect and the setting is gorgeous. I think this is one video I will watch more than once. It's so chill.
@@brentnevius2849I don’t know about all that. I do believe there will be a crack down on people living on water. I’m assuming They aren’t paying taxes and the government doesn’t like that.
Im so happy for these two people. It makes my heart smile to see young people living their dream. I freaking love their house and dog. Im a stranger on the internet but im so proud of them. Its a beautiful life being lived by beautiful people.
Wish I could LIKE this 100 times. One of the most unique, beautiful homes and beautiful way of life I have ever seen! So happy for them. Thank you Jenna!
Such a nice couple and a beautiful place. Most of these tiny house videos feature couples full of themselves and promoting something they don't have. This couple is so natural and sweet and focused. All the best for them.
Wow, very good video. Brandon is quite knowledgeable and expresses himself well. Sarah has educated herself very well about the in's and out's of the boat. She is not camera-shy (Or hides it well) and is very articulate! Great job guys! Love your home!
Your video was so informative in every way,I wish my wife could let go of her wardrobe s and the stuff that she buys and sometimes never wears,I love the water 🌊 but then again my wife can't swim and refuses to learn ,in spite of holidays in Abu Dhabi, and Turkey and the far east.so watching your video I could be on the water for a short time ,just to add you have made a great use of space.love the dog. Regards from Hereford UK
This is my favorite house and my favorite couple so far. Loved the way he just stared at the camera without blinking, cause, that's what you do. They were both so clear and articulate. It was a joy listening to them. Thanks, Jenna!
I just love this couple and their amazing home! I live in NC and had no idea this lake existed. What a wonderful life they have created for themselves and there beautiful Akita
I can identify with how much you love your home. My husband and I lived on a houseboat for 3 yrs and loved every minute of it. Ours was about the same size as yours and we had a waterbed on it, too! As large sailboats went by, there was much movement but it never made us seasick. We used propane; this was before the days of solar. I reluctantly moved off the water and look back on those days with much nostalgia. Enjoy!!
Congratulations Brandon and Sarah on a very special build. This tour had me smiling the whole way through. Such a light, bright atmosphere and perfectly laid out. Love all the nautical touches. The outdoor space is awesome with the spectacular surrounds. It's great to see a couple enjoying the beautiful and serene home they have created together and living their best lives.
It will not last because it is an expensive(they LIED about cost),inefficient, terrible over time(they haven't even gotten their feet wet yet) way to live!
Congratulations to you both, Brandon and Sarah!!! It takes guts to move onto the water and make this floating home absolutely comfortable, which it certainly is. All the best to you both and your furry friend, too!!
I felt my heart rate go down just watching😊what a comfy place to live that feeds your soul and let’s you truly be one with nature. Great job making such an inviting space!
Im from North Carolina, and we learned about Fontana Lake in school, theres actually a town under it, called Judson. Pretty cool to learn about, super sad for the residents at the time. I do love this idea of simple livin'. Hopefully one day Ill be livin' tiny myself!!
What a beautiful, peaceful and cosy home! Well done to this lovely couple for showing us that it’s doable to live on water and to think outside the square! Such a sweet couple too. Blessings!🙏🌌🫶🪕☮
Loved this episode!! What a beautiful couple, she’s so easy to listen too, interesting tidbits she shared as well! Definitely a gorgeous place to live… 🌊
I love this! My friend lived on a boat in Sausalito, I loved being out there, but I couldn't have my dog. SLEEPING on the water was bliss! However, that boat was NOTHING like this one! You just got such a beautiful comfy space, it's beautiful! I'd do this in a heartbeat. GREAT JOB! I subbed to your channel. I've worked and lived where we took boats everywhere, by choice in Southern California. I was amazed EVERYBODY had a dock, that was when I was 20, you could do everything from shopping to getting your hair cut, if you didn't want to have a car, you really could do with out, much like Florida's A1A, so this has been in the back of my mind for years.
I truly loved this one! I grew up on a lake and can attest to living a better life on the water and being less stressed and more relaxed. What a truly enjoyable young couple living the dream. Best wishes for their future. (And yes they raise children on the water if they so chose!)
Ya all are living my dream. When I retire, my goal is to live on water on a beautiful lake like that. I love fishing and boating. Thanks for sharing your home with me today.
What a wonderful home for an impressive couple. I’d would get a projector over the bed and white roller shade over the window to watch Netflix, YT, etc. You could get more counter space & bar area for eating if you’re willing to move the fridge next to the window on the wall…this will allow you access to the under counter corner cabinet area for deep storage. Could call on keeping the cozy couch instead of the futon. You both are blessed to live in such a beautiful serene home on the water!
I love everything about this houseboat. What a beautiful couple and awesome dog. They even have awesome jobs . Brandon is really lucky working 5 minutes away. Thanks for sharing.
Delightful couple 💕 They’ve done an amazing makeover 🌟 Thank you for educating us on everything with a floating house and taking care of the environment 💯💯💯💯💯
Now I am truly insanely jealous, what an amazing life, location. Water is special so to be able to live life on it, with ur amazing dwelling is a gift for sure. I’ve never seen anything truly like this before. Thanks for the video from Sydney Australia
"Incredibly peaceful & wonderful" really sums it up. A mesmerizing masterclass on living authentically. This lovely young couple makes my old hippie spirit sing. I ❤️ their perspective and knowledge. Thank you so much for sharing this innovative, sweet treasure. My new #waterhippies.
Love alternative, aka creative, living! I'm off grid and living in 200sf on a few acres which is surrounded by hilly state land! Neat couple and interesting observation about decreased resting heart rate.
I want one!🥰 I am blown away this is beautiful! I have said wow probably over 100 times while watching this! Love everything about it, the open shelving in the kitchen nook, and you have a real couch and not a 'bench' LOL, this is the best home I have ever seen! Thank you for sharing this!
Oh woah ! That tiny home sure was a very unique one. Brandon and Sarah did amzing job building their floating home ❤ I like it a lot, and those views ❤ Beautiful space to enjoy life.
The grant for pump outs, will save SO much dumping! Literally, lol. People on boats, either don't care, or don't have the money, and often just dump in waterways. Bravo on that grant!
Y'all live such an inspirational lifestyle! Love to see you on this channel, and can't wait to follow along the new build this year 😄. Cheers to L-I-V-I-N'!
This is TRULY an amazing way of living it's so interesting on how they accommodate everything, the decor, and the space! My favorite part will have to beee the laundry 2in1 really cool! ✨❤️
Wow. What a fantastic home, and so carefully and cozily done. You both deserve such beauty; you put so much love into making it your own. Truly in awe. Thanks for sharing.
What a beautiful location. I just watched a video touring a houseboat. After googling them, built out ones were more expensive than I thought so it's great timing to see how this couple created their own cozy and affordable home
Wow !! I only literally live about ten miles from here in Bryson City, NC. So cool to know this happy couple is making year round boat living their choice ! I wish them all the best. We are so fortunate to live in this part of the country whether boat or land, it’s absolutely beautiful !! 🙏🏼❤️⛰️
Wow what a great place !! Thanks so much for sharing your home with us. Your done a wonderful job & it looks like a small piece of Paradise to me!! It really does soothe your soul to be near water doesn’t it. Y’all stay safe thanks again for sharing!!✌️
This is absotutely fantastic, when I saw all your bottles on top shelf I immediately thought that the body of water you're in never get rough enough for the need to secure everything like on a boat.
What an adorable couple! And so well-spoken. Excellent tour. I bet a lot of folks think, "Yeah, I want to live out there!" Thanks so much for this uplifting & enjoyable video.
Wow Jenna I absolutely love this house boat/floating "tiny"home, it is simple, wonderful, and I would live in it in a heartbeat. This couple have done a wonderful job🙏🏽👌🏽
Actually this is the most brilliant build that I have seen probably in my entire life and it's going to be so useful when these plates by the time the plates are done shifting around and all this stuff with the world Posley turning over and everything this is exactly what you're going to need to survive
Amazing! Thank you. Enjoyed the video very much. Would never have thought of having a tiny home on the water, but they have everything they need and seems to really work for them. Really nice.
Sarah could easily be a top notch real estate agent..Nice to see people live their dream and be happy...Very hard to find in todays world.Cheers to both of you for a insprirational video
