Yellowstone National Park is literally full of pine trees. I went there last year (late October 2023) and didn’t see other species of trees. This was in the West side of Yellowstone. The North side was closed due to a freak storm. I took pictures of the trees and captured a few cryptids and a Sasquatch family. These beings became visible when I changed the picture’s brightness. I’m thinking that supernatural beings can easily dwell in national parks because the pine trees protect them from frequency attacks and allow for camouflage.

Chris, thank you for your channel. I've been catching your stories for about a year now. I was born and grew up in the Wind River Valley of Wyoming. I have been here 60 years now. Know the area well and where this couple fished. I have not heard of their experience until now. There have been several sightings in this area of the Wind River Range and Shoshone National Forest, stretching all the way up to the Yellowstone Park boundary. There are many more stories of encounters that are talked about from this area, and many that have not made it to the internet. I had an encounter years ago in the Shoshone Forest area where the Owl Creek Range meets the Absaroka Range northwest of the town of Dubois. The Wind River Range starts at this point and runs south. There are two other encounters I personally know of, along with mine, that were within a five-mile area near Brooks Lake. And yes, this is a hot spot for grizzly bears. Be armed at all times while in these areas, even if you are on a short stroll and parked just off the highway.

An expert Hunter was saying how he found several grizzly bears big healthy bears with their necks snapped the only thing I could do that would be a big foot. Also, another report this guy said he found a boneyard in the middle of nowhere just piles of bones with all kinds of animals and several grizzly bear skulls. Bigfoot is definitely kind of the woods.

I had no idea this tracking/paralleling behavior was normal. I was tracked out of the forest of the Santa Cruz mountains by one (probably more, now that I know more) and had zero idea this is typical. Heck, I denied it for decades, telling myself it was probably just some person trying to scare me. I finally faced up to it after my daughter had to do a report for school about Bigfoot. It's pretty freaky to know I was tracked, very closely (no more than twenty feet away) for about forty-five minutes, until I got to the edge of the tree line where the city (Santa Cruz, Ca) begins. I visit Santa Cruz from time to time, and I do *not* ever go back into the forest.

Loved this story! This couple made good plans and had a guide too which was how a big camping trip should be and he was an asset in this case. Thanks to the couple for sharing.

I'm going to buy me a beer to have for one of these stories.this reminds me of the Teddy Roosevelt story a little. The remoteness and the possible danger.

Hey Chris. That was a good one. I left the windows open at my front and back door just to get some brisk air and natural sound effects. It worked ok for a while. Kind of felt like I was outdoors. I might try setting up a small tent in the living room next time. Just kidding of course. But now that I think about it, that could actually work really well for the little kids. They would love to camp out indoors and watch Base Camp Chris tell campfire stories.

Great Chris, again. Particularly good one. Thoroughly enjoy your videos, stories, your hikes, camps in absolutely amazing country and places. Keep them coming. More overnights and campfire cooking if you can. Carry on the Sasquatch reviews. Personal believer. Best wishes from Tyneside, UK. 👍

Chris you are fun to watch. I have not watched your show till now. I'm Susan and I'm next to Plumas National Forest Ca. I enjoyed seeing your show very much. I have heard there are squatch in the forest here. I have not seen any. A friend from church says he saw one before higher up in the forest before. I believe him. God bless you and keep you safe. Thank you....

Wow, watching it for a minute may as well have been an hour! That's a considerable amount of time for a sighting. Thank you Chris for telling Rick and Kathy's story, and they picked a great outfitter guide, Joseph who was vigilantly overseeing the safety of his clients. Our Native American elders and tribes know so many stories. The word sasquatch comes from where my mom's reserve Chehalis BC, that is now known as Sts'ailes in British Columbia, Canada. Also kept checking behind you while you're telling a sasquatch story out there in that beautiful forest. Very nice setting.

Great story this one. We've also come back from our Northern California roadtrip which included a night in Willow Creek. No sightings of Bigfoot though and definitely none back home in England. Love your stories. Always a pleasure to listen.
