We got asked to makeover these newly renovated vacation rental spaces for Kelsey's partner's mom, but we only had 5 days to complete it & we decided to make it a bit of friendly competition!
Both space has lots of potential but are basically empty. There was already a kitchen stove unit, and some basics, like a fridge, lighting, and a sink. To make these suites livable for vacationers, we need to bring in beds, kitchen tables, some seating and storage, and spice it up with some decor.
We were also given the challenge of going along with different themes, a 1920s Saloon and a beach house. Who do you think will win?!?

This challenge reminds me of decorating the homes in Animal Crossing. In the Happy Home Paradise dlc, they give you a theme and some required furniture pieces you have to use to decorate the space!

One of my Favorite things to watch on youtube is when the Sorrygirls go thrifting. Or when they use what they have. In his video they do BOTH. Love it. The blue color is a really good choice as it goes so nicely with the Golden tone of the wood of the bed. Sorry Austin and Becky didn’t get the horse wall plauqe. Sometimes uncool stuff can be fun and eclectic. Two things in the North American interior design culture I will never understand: - pendant light hung really high up - putting a bed in front of a window. Apart from that I’m over the Moon with you guys doing makeovers again. Thanks for that.

I love how Elliot is just like "Whatever you say boss" he gives Kelsey all the space she needs to let her creativity shine. You can tell how much he respects her talent. Austin is 100% husband goals. I will admit I was shocked when the video ended... I thought this was a 1 episode! :) Y'all got me. This was a great idea and it is so fun to have Becky and Kelsey in the same video, and get to see them interacting with Elliot and Austin. I love the concept. I absolutely love this room by design challenge between you two. I think Becky and Austin got the better fit for thier style with the whole guitar retro vibe. Then Kelsey and Elliot got the plain white with some greenery which actually is kinda Kelsey's making home style.
