Courage 

I’m not even sure where to begin but I guess I will start by saying thank you to everyone that has taken the time to meet me and to hear my story. It has taken a lot of courage to share this with the world but I hope that this can inspire people to make a difference. I do not want anyone to see me as a victim of this but I want everyone to see me as a survivor. This has really humbled me and has made me the person I am today. I dedicate this post to all the families that have lost a child at the border. I also dedicate this post to my mom and dad for never giving up on me and for sacrificing so much to give me a better life. My name is Jacqueline Villanueva Arevalo and this is the story that not many people know. This is me.
