This was the plot twist I was looking for, those buddies would’ve been dusted a long time ago if I wasn’t for their cuteness and softish bites Courier six is trying to get toughness rank 2 before adopting a nightstalker puppy, why else would he be purposely throwing himself in cactuses.
Well she'll be disappointed, until the outpost gets raided and the Courier destroys the opposing force with ease, only really getting support from Boone who just saw what was going on
@@Literallyryangosling777 ofcourse im going to eat food first its heavyer than the stimpacks so i free up my carryweight, so i can lug around more of the endless supply of fooditems so i can eat it when im damaged becouse food is heavyer than stimpacks....
@Eddneton94 and buy eating all that food your practically gulping down radaway to no grow an exta limb by eating 200 year old irradiated steak and washing down with an irradiated quantum
@@silverjohn6037 I spent a long weekend last month driving from LV to Washington UT for a pistol competition, then spent a day in Zion before driving back to LV. Guess where I got rained on.
I've played like every fallout game and my character has never had less than 10 INT and use charisma and luck as my dumb stats he may be a genius be he can't even get to the next town without running into a horde of cazadors or the only like 3 centaurs in all the mojave guy can't catch a break
@@hellouniverse5451 10 INT is cool and all, but did you know you can actually get 100 in every skill in New Vegas with 6-7 INT if you play your cards right and collect the permanent skillbooks and get stuff like INT implant and Skilled perk? Also comprehension tends to be better overall than educated because it also gives you a +20 to the non-permanent books and it gets you more skill points than Educated in the long term as well. There's a video of it somewhere explaining it in more detail, definetly a fun challenge you can do to get 100 in everything with that strategy, there's also a strat to get the Riot Gear at Lvl 1 as well so there's that.
Love this depiction of the courier. An absolute weirdo lunatic who is about a 100x more competent than he looks… Which isn’t saying as much as you’d think, because he doesn’t look very competent
Vash the Stampede vibes, minus the pacifism part lol Flailing his way out of life-or-death situations with near-supernatural marksmanship, screaming the whole way
Imagine Mr House was doing background checks on all the available couriers, goes to Courier 6 and asked about him. Boss: 6 I don’t think you want him everytime we send him out something weird happens, like this one time had him deliver a package and this whole area a week later became covered in skin shredding storms, plus he gets covered in all sorts of junk on the brink of death. House: but he doesn’t die? Boss: no, don’t get how seems he runs on pure determination, he at least gets the packages delivered, and we’re short staffed so… House: he’s perfect.
Yeah basically what I imagine the career to be like just this incredibly a brilliantly dumb luck character who always manages to deliver the packages but all sorts of stuff happens and he's always on the brink of death
Because people in his condition rarely laugh, and when it happens it is really surprising even for them. Speaking from experience. Being honest, for me this comics' version of Boone feels not so canonic, he acts less depressed and more stoic, bit too friendly and chatty, sometimes even fratboy-ish. He feels like a separate character, just with the same name and visuals as in-game Boone.
Maaaaaan its been so long since the last time i saw a new vegas comic, the artist (worthlessix) was very active on tumblr for a while but after some drama in the fnv tumblr community they suddenly stopped posting and left the scene, makes me happy to see that people still stumble on their art from time to time
Indeed, it sucks that happened. Happy WorthlessSix recognized this video and is thankful his work is appreciated. More New Vegas comic dubs to come ^ ^
@@BervikVA this is wishfull thinking of my part but i hope the new wave of new players and veterans alike will bring fallout artists back (including W6) to the game community, btw thanks for answering didnt expect to get a response, keep up the good work mate!
Ha! Made me go read the comics, love em. I really also love how so many people share my love of absolutely useless idiot protags with enough luck and gunpowder to make up for it. Truly the truest Courier Six.
Unrealistic. From my experience, the courier always ran around in their underwear, beating up anything that movies with an extremely damaged tire iron.
And if they saw courrier in genocid run: "who is this man whiselling with a big smile on his face and a big iron on his hips?" "he is just standing there, menacingly"
What you expect is The Arizona Ranger with the Big Iron on his hip, what you get is a drug addled lunatic carrying a small armory of weapons and with half the dangerous fauna in the Mojave trying to murder him.
Unbenknownst to her: this is a Legion playthrough, and the Courier is on his way to jingle-jangle-jingle their brains all over Forlorn Hope with a rebar club.
I feel like it's a 2 step process with a step 3 for followers: Step 1 - Hear about the legendary Courier Step 2 - See that he or she Is a complete dumbass that just runs around everywhere, jumping around Optional step 3 - See him or her constantly do the imposible, like killing 5 deathclaws in the blink of an eye.
Ngl, this Courier reminds me of Vash the Stampede. He/she may look goofy but when he/she is at his/her limit, he/she showed how much of a badass he/she is.
@@BervikVA heh, guess they joked about Courier using console commands, because killing a bunch of deathclaws in a blink of the eye requires either a sniper build with explosive rounds, nukes or that. And knowing that all other time the Courier is just carelessly hopping around... Well...
@@TheTroutyness I re-contextualized it by starting the comic with Courier Six asking for advice about loneliness and then Boone said "Everyone dies eventually" which Six misinterpreted the context X D
“So… why?” “They wanted to try crossing the Mojave using nothing but a boxing glove that was in poor condition.” “Couldn’t they just take the long way to stock up on supplies and rest?” “They wanted to punch all the deathclaws in quarry junction and said it would be ‘too easy’ to take breaks.” “And they’re the most competent man in the Mojave?” “Well, most competent in The Divide too apparently.” “WHAT?!”
His feats are LEGENDARY, but that doesn't make him any less human like them; to some people who truly know him or have seen him action can count on him when needed...
