Course of Fire: The 5 Second Standard 

I wish I could clone Pat and make him the default BRM instructor for the entire US ARMY!!! Can you imagine how awesome our soldiers would be in BRM if they could just have him teaching them.

I can see the intentionality towards both getting reps in & logical scenarios behind this drill. It’s a progression; from the most preferable “start” to pulling the trigger (compressed) -> to less favorable situations (“Oh crap, I just got shot in my dominant shoulder…but the fight isn’t over”). Pat, you’re a phenomenal instructor & I hope I get the chance to train with you someday! This is golden!

It’s amazing to me that there are still so many shooters in 2022 that don’t know about shot timers.

I remember that 5 seconds is a long time to shoot a couple rounds.
