I hate how they’re trying to demonize him through his drug use. My Mother was a drug addict, she dealt with an abusive husband while raising 3 kids. She was never violent. She was sick & needed help. People use drugs to self medicate, it doesn’t make you violent. And guess what, she was ALWAYS there for me as my mother. Nothing stopped her. Drugs don’t make you violent. CHOOSING to be violent makes you violent.

None of this matters and it just makes Amber's side look desperate. Even if he was a drunk and a druggie it doesn't mean he wasn't abused by that psycho.

What does it matter how he is holding his jacket? This is such a waist of time. When Amber losses i hope she has to pay 100% of the total court costs and johnny's lawyer's cost!!!

I'm a survivor of domestic violence. It takes a brave and strong person to tell their story. No matter what happens, I'm glad he's finally getting to tell his story. Just by doing that, he's already won. We're with you Johnny. You're not alone. Keep your head up ❣️

I don't care if he snorted whiskey and drank cocaine. This is a defamation suit and she is not being sued for saying he got drunk or high... or that riding in an elevator holding a jacket is a crime. Oh man I hope these jurors can see through this bullshit as clearly as the rest of us. It is up to the judge to explain this to the jury compellingly enough.

Why does no one even focus on the fact there is a recording between them both. On that recording Amber is openly admitting that she punches and hits Johnny Depp and that when she wants him to fight back, he runs away "scared". She is manipulative and disgusting.

It breaks my heart that Johnny Depp came from a home with an abusive mother only to spend years with an abusive wife. In addition to her physical abuse the psychological and mental abuse on Johnny must be terrible.

The fact that she took a 7million settlement and she was not supposed to speak about jd but continued to give interviews about a man that had abused her . The fact that she promised to give all of that money to charity and she hasn’t who’s the liar here . Her team says it’s because she had defend herself in court but this claim against her came against her much later somebodies lying and it’s nots jd 😢

It is a shame that Johnny is having to air all this dirty laundry for everyone to see, but I think it speaks volumes that even when using drink and drugs amist long term mental illness, sustaining serious injury, losing his mother to a long term illness, detoxing from a medication he had become dependent upon, there is no sufficient evidence that he ever laid a finger on Amber. There is audio recordings of her admitting to physically abusing him and no one has labelled her a “husband beater”, all the testimonies are lining up from people who are allegiance to Johnny but also those who have no connection or “owe” him anything and it all makes sense as a picture. I look forward to seeing what Amber has to say. She won’t but at this point she needs to admit to her wrongs, apologise to Johnny for her abuse, apologise to all the people she tricked into believing she was a victim of abuse to get attention for her career and then go to a mental home and figure out her problems

I laugh when people say 'my truth'. There's only THE truth, not yours or anyone. My truth is like saying that's only hers and she made it up. She's a liar. I do hope fake victims of DV and SA should get jail time as it really takes attention away from real victims who are fearful of coming forward and people not believing them because of people like HER.

She never had any documentation from doctors or pictures of the abuse but she suddenly accused him after they were divorced? No cops called except once and there was no abuse reported.

I’m so glad Johnny is fighting back and telling his side. DV doesn’t just happen to women it happens to men too. The irony his mom was abusive to his dad, to him and his siblings due to mental illness. Fast forward and he has zero DV situations with anyone he dated and he had long term relationships, not only with women but ppl who work for him, friends, family. Who are still with Johnny. It speaks to his character. Now he meets Amber who I think it comes full circle to his mother. The similarities, the violence, the abuse. The same abuse he went through as a child with a mom who was mentally ill but undiagnosed until later. We either marry our parents or we do the opposite. I get the feeling with Amber he married a woman similar to his mother. This is the ending. Shame on the therapist and any life coaches that Johnny had for not seeing it. He may have a drug and alcohol problem. But it doesn’t mean that he is a violent man. Ppl that come from DV situations it’s very difficult and it’s something that is with you. But there is a certain safety we must feel in our lives. This was not safe for Johnny at all and I can imagine it was very triggering for him. He is human. I felt very badly for him from the beginning and certain things she said didn’t ring true to me. But this man’s track record in relationships and his past I just don’t see him hitting any woman I just don’t. If she is lying she should be held liable. And she will have done nothing but hurt real DV survivors by lying. Its sad thats where we are. Ppl can make accusations no proof and destroy ppl’s lives and careers. Cancel culture. As a society we need to put our foot down about this. It was very unfair how Johnny Depp and numerous others have been treated without evidence. He can’t get back what he has lost and the pain this caused. I really feel for him and his family. ❤️🙏

There are more reasons someone comes across "animated ". I am a Child psychologist and we see in children who have expierenced trauma hyperactivity and impulsivity often. Same goes for adults. Depp has been open about his drug and alcohol use. That doesnt necesaraly mean he is abusive and/or agressive. Decades of research have found a strong link between exposure to traumatic events and substance abuse.

This commentator is so misleading. His sister got him his own room so that he had a place to go not because he was abusive but he gets triggered by fights because of his mother. He was being very disciplined and smart.

The more I learn about this story the more and more I take Johnny's side.. Amber really needs a psychological evaluation.. At 1st I thought maybe they both were at fault but Amber really has shown the world who she really is... I was a victim of domestic abuse, standing up to your abuser takes an enormous amount of courage because the abuser has worked hard at knocking you down emotionally, physically. Getting back up after being beat down is scary, so for Heard to lie & say it was Drop, not her who was abusive, is NOT surprising. She gaslights because she needed to get to his money, she accuses him of abuse because she knows it's so much more believable. She is a narcissist, an abuser, and mostly a sociopath. I was ruined by my husband's lies, made to look like a liar. Although I didn't have a career in acting, she has made sure to ruin him for him exposing her as the devil she is. That's the payback of an abuser. It couldn't be more clear & obvious, so I hope these jurors are paying attention because it couldn't be more obvious by her legal team what it is they are trying to do...distract from the fact Heard was the abuser.
