having watched and read and observed in person his interviews for 15+ years, I think he genuinely means well, and as the sport is still fairly small, though ever growing, he has personal relationships with many of his interview subjects which is reflected in the banter/style of the interviews, but my one thing I wish he did even better (and by contrast which his partner Meghan has always done a better job) which you can see with Courtney's interview and Francois' pre-hr interviews this year is that he doesn't allow the speaker to finish their answer too often and will speak over them, especially if subject speaks slowly or has medium to lower energy (or lower than Bryon's energy). To be fair I've seen some improvement in this area for him. I would like to see more. For this type of subject it won't leave the audience as informed as they could be. Please, Bryon, let them finish their thoughts. And as tight as your editorial deadlines may be at events like these, it's ok to pause yourself for a moment to collect your thoughts and use the right words (like instead of asking 'what else could you do better in training' ask 'besides taking a different approach to nutrition training, are there other adjustments you made from last year to have a better chance of making the full loop?'; we'd be ok with jump cuts in the interview).

@@esgee3829 Amen! Meghan goes with the flow - this interview would have been much more fun! - & out of control! I guess he (Byron) appeals to the nerdy person who wants to tick all the boxes, tick ☑️ question asked… (good as a worker) not in strategy… We want fun! Like when Courtney said “it’s too late now…”🤣😂.Meghan would have cracked up with her, (she is a hoot!) - he immediately gets back on on the saddle..wow…whilst Court is cracking up… (all his interviews I just find them stiff…I get so anxious/nervous for him/interviewee…🤦🏾). I believe he should be promoted to mgt, script writing etc not this anchor role! Give it to DyBo (Dylan Bowman perhaps) someone else. Nice guy though, but this is not for him - but yes it’s his business! - “my show my rules!” I guess… Meaning to help than criticise- I hope it came out that way! Shalom🙏
