I'm worried that Courtney has been out of the spotlight for too long. Yesterday her MV had 80K views, in my opinion it deserves 80 million views. I truly hope something breaks for her and she becomes the superstar she is meant to be. Peace and long life.
Courtney is releasing as an independant artist so she doesn't have the wide advertising that a label would do for a song release, it's also been about 5 years since she was able to release any official music. That she has managed to find 80k in a week just from social media and word of mouth says a lot. Once people realise she has new music available her numbers should go up rapidly.

Hey Mudd. I love this video. So many times, I watch a music video and end up trying to figure out what the heck the video had to do with the song. Not in this case. This video was perfect for ‘Breakable’ and added a visual gut punch to a song that already hits you like a hammer. So many thing that are amazing about this video. The story line, the location (Malaga, Spain), the production quality. You just know that whenever Courtz gets personally involved with snything, the output is going to be something incredible. Courtney has been promoting ‘Breakable’ around the clock. No one works harder than she does. Once she ditched the labels, she got done in two months what they couldn’t get done in years. We always talk about how Courtney is the voice of a lifetime, which is absolutely true, but she brings so much more to the table. Her focus, her drive, her work ethic and so much more. What a role model she is for all of us, regardless of our age.
For almost a week I've had this song on loop in my brain. It is a good thing that artists cant get royalties directly from the brain, because Courtney would be making a fortune off of me right now. But I would be willing to pay, to support her on her way, if I could.

I know what you mean about her being the Queen of "Music". Rock, Gospel, Jazz, Blues, Funk, Motown,... she can sing most genres easily. Tonight, here in New Zealand it is not only Census Day, but Harry Styles is doing a concert. It's all over the news, but I'm not a fan of him, I just cannot wait for Courtney to have concerts.

This song and video combination [chef's kiss], sublime. That's what I love about Courtney, she puts her emotions right out there. I don't think that very many modern singers can do this while performing. And the reason for all of the "Americanisms" in the video is that Sony UK was stuffing her around, trying to mould her into something which she isn't, an Ariana Grande type. Her getting fired from the bar represents her leaving Sony to become independent. And, I believe that the ruins at the end were in a horror movie from the 70s called "The Demoniacs", but I could be wrong on that one.

Chuckvisconti, This morning Courtney said she "I'm going to answer a few questions so shoot them at me". So I asked her this. "Are the "Breakable" lyrics about a love relationship or a label and/or management relationship or nothing in particular just life relationships in general." Courtney's reply to me was, " for me Breakable is about the last 5 years everything that has happened ". I also read a reply from her to another question where she said something like It more or less up to the listener to take what they feel from this song.
