That’s super exciting! I’ve only just finished my first draft and it’s not a thriller but I hope that at some point I’ll be able to break into the mystery/thriller genre. It’s my favorite to read so I’ll definitely check this out☺️

This book is now on my list to read! I do love that cover. I also grew up reading R. L. Stine - absolutely one of my favorites. I like photo realistic on standalone covers. I don't find they work on any book that is a series with the main character because they often will not have the same person (like they will both have blond hair but it's not actually the same person from cover to cover) - can't stand it!

What a pretty cover! Casey has outdone herself again and you're so fortunate to have her working with you again! On a different note. I was watching your Succesful Query Letter Examples video and it occured to me that you don't have Synopses examples video yet. I learned so much from your succesful query examples and I was hoping you could also make a comprehensive synopses examples (since I'm close to getting on that stage) across all age category and genres. I understand synopsis are full spoilers so maybe it will help if you can tag spoiler alerts in the video too so we would know which parts we could skip (if we want to read that particular book) and move on to other synopses that will be okay for us to read without fear of spoilers.

I love the cover, it really gives me slightly 80's feel, but like a true crime documentory of an 80's murder. Like if JonBenét Ramsey was a Homecoming queen instead of a child beauty pagent star this is totally what I'd expect the cover of the true crime book covering that to look like. It is perfect and fits what you've described. Can't wait for the murder turducken!

I dont read thrillers nor have an interest in any of the tropes you mentioned. The cover clearly shows me that the book is not for me. But thats actually perfect! The cover is great, looks cool etc and it conveys the tone of the book. Readers into the genre will know whats up :D I alos love how much u hype up Casey I will deffo be checking out her socials :D

I only recently started writing but I am an illustrator and I've always wondered how to get into doing cover arts (I've done two already but they were for kids books I was already illustrating) Mostly wondering the best platform to find authors who are looking for a cover illustrator and how to approach (or should I just focus on advertising myself and let them come to me?)
