Thank you for your clean beauty perspective! I’m so sick of hearing other influencers rant and preach about “harmful ingredients”, as if they’re trained, educated, and active chemists. It’s dangerously ill-informed, and predatory. I really appreciate your approach and sound logic.
I stopped following someone who had an eye issue then only wanted to use clean…That was my line. The lack of solidly studied preservatives makes the “clean” makeup much more likely to cause a problem. 🤦🏻♀️
I love seeing Covergirl come out with good quality products, stepping up their game. I will be 50 in February and Covergirl was my go to for makeup when I was in high school. It's a warm nostalgic feeling and I might just have to try some of these products out
Just want to say... Jen you have done a great job keeping up your vlogmas this year. You're a busy mom and wife and i think we all appreciate you trying to stay dedicated to your channel and give us uploads as often as possible! Merry Christmas! 🎅🎄
Yes I agree! And another thing I absolutely LOVE about Jen’s channel, is she doesn’t try to sell sell sell stuff constantly, like so many other beauty RU-vidrs. I’m so tired of seeing face gadgets being advertised In videos lol. This whole Vlogmas It feels like I’m just watching a bunch of advertisements 😢….but not with Jen’s channel! Hers is a true Christmas vlog ❤️😊🎄
Thank you so much for addressing the issues with "clean" beauty. Parabens have been used and studied for decades and are shown to be safe as well as other ingredients. I feel companies just slap the name clean on products because they think that's what everyone wants. I understand we do have to be careful but people really need to check their sources carefully. The prices of drugstore makeup is really going up but the quality is definitely amazing. I exclusively buy drugstore makeup, that's why I love your dupe videos.
Frequently, companies replace parabens with Methylchloroisothiazolinone/ Methylisothiazolinone. I’m allergic. With all the reformulations, I’ve had to replace all my shower products. It’s frustrating.
I totally agree. I get somewhat frustrated when people scorn me for my decision to wear non mineral makeup, stating that it will cause a severe illness, such as cancer. Makeup brands have claimed to be "mineral" for a long time. I remember when mineral powder foundation was the latest thing, but nobody seems to go that route anymore. Either way people should not be scorned for choosing to wear makeup!
Yes drugstore makeup quality has really really improved lately. I can’t believe the difference in drugstore makeup, compared to the 80’s/90’s when I was younger. It’s great!
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!! You literally spoke for me and I am so happy! When you said, "what is the other makeup dirty?" I almost fell off our bed! I actually wrote that to Tati several years ago and she was not happy with me at all. She commented back to me and I still to this day believe I am right about the whole scam that is "clean" makeup and so many people are buying it up and making the cosmetic companies millions of $$$. I'm just so excited that you spoke up about this and again thank you Jen.
Frankly, I am put off by fragrance more than common preservatives. I wish Clinique would go cruelty free because they are committed to not "perfuming " their products. (Well, I wish all companies would be cruelty free. There's no need for animal testing any longer. ) Love the look you came up with.
I wish more beauty youtubers would talk about the "clean beauty" scam and fearmongering. I'm pretty sick of it, so much so that I won't buy a product if it's labeled as such. I'm loving vlogmas this year, Jen! Thanks so much for all you do.
I love the way you have structured your intro to vlogmas with a basic structure but with components that change daily. It’s sweet to see your son come down the stairs and put the ornament on the advent tree. Very nice!
Thank you so much for addressing clean beauty. More creators need to push back against this whole movement. It's not regulated, it's pure fear mongering, and it's given us potentially more dangerous products because they go bad faster. It's also purely a money grab, both in labeling and the fact products go bad faster.
I'm happy to see that Cover Girl has some new products. I would like to try the Yummy Gloss, but to be honest I'm not impressed with the eyeshadow palettes. The price at $14 is way too much since they look like other less expensive brand 4 shadow palettes that I enjoy. I would rather pay this much for a Colourpop 9 pan. Thanks for the new updates!💚
Clean beauty has become so problematic! What I am concerned about is animal testing. I wasn't even going to look at these because of the "clean" marketing. Thank you for this video! 💕💕💕
Yes! Animal testing is the big problem that no one is talking about. Some of these brands claiming to be Cruelty Free, but are NOT! That is the problem not preservatives that aren’t dangerous and keep the products from going bad.
Hey Jen! Thank you so much for being the level-headed voice of reason from the RU-vid Beauty community. I think warnings about talc usage are warranted if you're already compromised and, especially in the case of babies or those with pre-existing respiratory problems, breathing in the dust is a regular thing. But if any reasonably healthy adult uses cornstarch-based powders, you are inviting nonspecific eczema and yeast growth. Yes, cornstarch feeds yeast. Ringworm, athlete's foot, jock itch are all fungus infections, fed by cornstarch in sensitive individuals. I have found a couple of off brands of scented body powders that still are talc-based, but these are few and far between, usually found on the bottom shelves at super discount stores like Dollar Tree and Big Lots. I even shop at markets that cater to Latin populations; Mexican imports are where you can still find a few talc-based body powders. I generally don't wear perfumes, so whatever scents are in the powders are fine with me; they don't last too long anyway. And "clean" products in the makeup and skincare categories can really cause problems, especially if you have rosacea or other sensitized skin issues. Not only are preservatives being eliminated or replaced, but emulsifiers, colorants and stabilizers too - and if your skin has been accustomed to forty (or fifty!) years of regular chemical use, just jumping to products with "more natural" ingredients - especially botanicals - can create havoc you might never recover from. So yes, you're so smart to consider and speak with reasoned skepticism about these issues. I give audible eye rolls when I hear RU-vidrs pretending to be scientists and giving dire warnings about "clean beauty." Thank you so much for giving the realm of other possibilities a chance to be heard.
I LOVE that you talked about this!!! All these brands are coming out with “clean” things and so many of them go bad so quick because they don’t have proper preservatives in them. They all have a shorter shelf life because of the lack of preservatives, but most don’t even last the few months the brand says they should. And I definitely agree with the fear mongering! People are so against things like parabens saying they have these horrible effects but there’s been no real studies proving that! The studies most people use as their “proof” are ones using amounts WAAAAY higher than used in cosmetics (which is usually less than 0.3%) and most were focused on eating or injecting the parabens not topical applications. It’s just crazy to me people jump on this fear bandwagon without doing their own research! Not to mention, like you said, without proper preservatives you’re at risk for some nasty infections. Just because something is natural doesn’t make it safe. There’s plenty of stuff in nature that’s bad for us! AND when there’s natural substances, a lot of times they need preservatives even more than synthetic ingredients, so not being properly preserved with natural ingredients is even worse! It’s just nuts!
I think what I’m most wary about when it comes to the “clean beauty” trend is that ”clean” doesn’t actually mean safe, non-irritating or non-allergenic. I have extremely sensitive skin, and my son has quite a few life-threatening food allergies that impact the beauty and self-care products I buy. All-natural fruit oils and nut and seed butters can be extremely irritating and, possibly, cause allergic reactions for some people. Plus, the term “clean” isn’t policed at all. Companies are often just using it as a marketing tactic. So I’m often sceptical.
I love that cover girl is cruelty free, and the new packaging is so eye-catching and crisp. As far as clean beauty is concerned, I would just love it if brands would care enough to check their sources for sustainable talc mining, fair trade ingredients, etc.
It's the same with aluminum in antiperspirant, there is such a lack of evidence between that and cancer that several different countries' health authorities have said it's not even worth further study. But the fear mongering continues... That color family (the purple-plums) is very flattering on you, I have very similar skintone I may need to add some purple to my life!
Exactly! Just because they found aluminum in breast cancer tissue doesn't mean it CAUSED the cancer. There's a big difference. I'm sure there are a lot of substances in our bodies from things we use but until there's actual proof, we don't have to live in fear. I tend to use everything in moderation...that way I don't get too much of any one thing.
I have become a *HUGE* Covergirl fan since they became cruelty-free, and I've been impressed with most of their products that I've bought, particularly the mascaras and lipsticks. I dumped all of the Estee Lauder brands, including my beloved MAC and Bobbi Brown, when they lost their cruelty-free status. Thanks to brands like CoverGirl, , Lime Crime, Ulta, Sydney Grace, NYX, Absolute New York, ColourPop, e.l.f. and Milani, I do not miss EL brands At. All. I especially love the fact that CoverGirl makes such a big deal about being Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free. I wish that the enthusiastic reception that CoverGirl's wise move has gotten would encourage others like Maybelline, L'Oréal, and Max Factor to follow suit. In fact, it seems that recently Maybelline has come out with a few "Green Edition" products that are vegan and environmentally friendly, which makes me think they're feeling some pressure. HOPE SO! 😃
Your skin looks so amazing. I would LOVE to see an updated video on the products and tools you’ve using because time is going in reverse for you. Happy holidays 💜
Thank you for addressing this. Dr Dray has put out great videos regarding this. And then you have influencers like Tati who keep pushing “clean” and “natural” ingredients without fully understanding how and why certain products are used making them perfectly safe. And how certain “natural” and “clean” ingredients aren’t necessarily safe and can be made up of hundreds of ingredients any of which can cause harmful skin reactions.
I can't get over how gorgeous these palettes swatched , I think I will collect all of them , unfortunately the elf bite size palettes irritated my eyes so I'm so excited to try the CG ones .
I am super excited to try these new covergirl eyeshadows because talc often makes my eyelids get dry and peel, so I always get excited by talc free eyeshadow for that reason. These look so high quality and the look you achieved is gorgeous!! Totally agree with your perspective on clean beauty.
After seeing this video I am headed to my ulta tomorrow to get all the Covergirl Clean Fresh Eyeshadows.Just watching the video i am already impressed with how they wore on you for that many hours plus i am stocked with sigma eye primer as well so I am excited to try these out soon. Thanks Jen for putting up this video.I feel covergirl is really stepping up their game lately
Thank you for talking about all the BS marketing around clean beauty. Especially removing parabens, which are well studied, because of the fear mongering around a debunked link to cancer. However, I also have a lot of issues with cruelty free beauty. So much of it ignores not only the work conditions for people today but also ignores the history of animal testing that now allows us to use certain ingredients safely without further testing. And the oversimplification regarding sales in China, also while ignoring all that history. Anyway, I didn't get on with the blush because the nude shade I tried wasn’t pigmented enough to show up on my skintone. Just looked like nothing at all.
The cruelty free claims have been irritating me for years, as you said, obviously cosmetics don't need to be tested on animals because most of the ingredients have already been tested on them. I truly feel as though Jen is the only RU-vid beauty content creator I've seen who addresses these types of issues, so thanks Jen 💖
What a beautiful look on you Jen. I'm definitely trying the eye shadow. Thank you for your voice of reason regarding 'clean' beauty. Its so easy to get caught up in fads. You always steer us in the right direction. I really trust your channel.
I love some Covergirl products! I use their brow pencil, mascaras, and creme lipsticks on a regular basis. I am excited to try this new eyeshadow, as well as the concealer and yummy gloss! Thank you so much for the review 💖
This makes me so excited! Ever since they became Leaping Bunny certified, I've been hoping they come out with newer, more exciting, quality makeup! ☺️💫🩵
I follow Dr. Dray on RU-vid, and she discusses talc, preservatives, Vaseline, alcohol... and other ingredients that get a bad rep in the media and other cosmetics/ skin care, and she clarifies all those fears. My skin has definitely improved since I started following her. I appreciate that you brought light to that subject.
The problem with some of those well-known preservatives is that they are supposed to be safe in certain doses, and the FDA does not calculate multiple products being used in a day they only calculate for that product whether it is safe to use. I think people are much more aware now of the cumulative effect that some chemicals can have and we are learning new things everyday. Also there are a lot of ingredients that have been banned in other countries like the EU, that they have done studies about with accumulative effect and have shown to be toxic. But the FDA again doesn't follow that rule so some beauty companies are going by EU standard instead of FDA standard to be on the safe side. Also I know for myself personally I am very severely allergic to talc. I've done my research about the asbestos and there is a list that comes out every year of cosmetics that have asbestos contaminated talc in them and it's not just Claire's it's brands like even Knicks and L'Oreal and City color and LA girl. But for me just being allergic to it, I'm happy that at least some brands are noticing people don't want talc in their products and that just naturally gives me more options to use. I think in all things people need to do their own research and come up to their own conclusions of what is safe for them to use. I'd rather be a little bit scared of something and not use it then use it and have a reaction.
Speaking of "clean" brands and funky smells, my Kosas foundation and concealer BOTH had to be tossed because they started to smell like mildewed shower curtains and moldy yeast bread lol. That was a chunk of money to just throw away, no ma'am. Not again.
I have a big appreciation for companies going talc free, but that's because I'm allergic to talc. In general there really is a lot of misinformation about "clean" beauty. A lot of so called "clean" or "natural" products really aggravate my sensitive skin. I will say those shadows look pretty nice. I thought the price was ridiculous when I saw them shared on IG, but I feel a bit better about it when you get a good bit more product than the other brands.
Totally agree with you about the 'clean' trend. I stopped using drug store makeup many years ago because I had become vegetarian and learned about the cruelty aspect of makeup. That's my deal breaker! That's when I discovered some of the higher end brands that were cruelty free. But I'm SO happy that so many of the cosmetic companies are turning away from the animal testing, etc and after seeing all this beautiful CG makeup on you, I'm going to give them another try!
Yesss! Finally CoverGirl is updating their line. Jeeze it seems like they haven’t made anything new, and good, for so long. I’m excited to see what else they come out with. I’ve been really hoping Flower beauty comes out with a liquid contour/bronzer, and a liquid blush, in their Charlotte Tilbury dupe packaging line they made with their highlighters. Im hoping they release those in the upcoming new year 🙏🏼
Jen, I found your monologue regarding so-called "clean beauty," very refreshing. As a Licensed Cosmetologist for 40 years, and a Salon owner for 35. I have extensive knowledge regarding beauty product ingredients. I have left the nearly verbadon comments you expressed, on other RU-vid channel's about this subject. The gas lighting that goes on across the platforms is pitiful. Clinical studies have shown that some of the ingredients used to replace perservatives such as Parabens are often ineffective and some experts feel are potentially more harmful. It's all about marketing, and sadly too many individuals fall prey to the nonsense. I could go on for hours about the actual "fake news" but I'll leave it at that.. Continued success in the growth of your channel.. ~LeaAnne~
Saw these on Ulta and so excited for the review! I have a lot of goodwill for Covergirl that constantly gets tested 😂. DID YOU SEE the new Milani Thrive mascara dupe?! I hope you’ll get to that one soon!
Yes! I ordered it from Walgreens the other day. It was supposed to come today but got delayed due to weather. Hoping I can get it tomorrow and have a video up this weekend. :)
@@JenPhelpscan’t wait to see what you think, I saw a post on Instagram that it is a tubing mascara but doesn’t come off like a tubing mascara like the Thrive one. Just ordered another tube of Thrive to have as my backup.❤
Now i love your channel even more based on your "clean" honesty! And...45YO. What?! I was thinking you were early 30s! You need to share your skincare secrets! ❤😘
Like you, CoverGirl was one of my main go-to's when it came to makeup. I bought a lot of products from CoverGirl. I think I stopped when prices went exceedingly high because I just couldnt afford them anymore. So I gravitated towards Wet n' Wild. Which I was already using, but it soon became the NEW main go-to makeup brand. Up until now, I haven't really used anything except Wet n' Wild. Now I use multiple brands like LA Colors, Essence, Dupe brands, and whatever I can afford. Idk I'm still exploring MakeupLand.
Hi Jen, I can’t believe it’s been 16 days already, I feel like the days are just going by to fast. Ulta has them on sale right now, buy 2 get one free so they would be 9.32 each. I found a coupon code for 20% off so I get an additional savings. Do I need 3 of them no but I couldn’t pass up this deal. Your skin sure looks so pretty with no makeup, whatever your using on your skin is working, you’ll have to give us an update on those new products you got. Thank you for all this wonderful content you’ve been doing, I never get bored or check out early, I stay till the end, I know it’s a lot of work for you, I really appreciate you, bless you.🎄❤️🥰
Thank you for this!! Parabens have become this bad ingredient…..that isn’t bad!! If I need a product to last…..I avoid the ‘clean’ crap!! It’s so ridiculous these days! Parabens aren’t bad…..for the reasons you just gave!!! Thank you ♥️💋
I haven’t jumped on the clean beauty bandwagon but I might give these eyeshadows a try and some of the other cover girl products now that you mentioned it thanks for your review and merry Christmas
$14!!!! For a CG quad!!! They look beautiful but I would need a ridiculous coupon/sale before I’d even consider it. Thank you for your comprehensive review and your thoughts on ‘clean’ beauty!
I've seen $3. Off coupons for CoverGirl items printed in the Sunday newspaper inserts; unfortunately, the most popular newer items seem to be excluded. But if you are friendly with a CVS store clerk and have one of their creative store coupons, you can really get a deal on any CoverGirl item!
@@MyCleverHandle yes! I will see if I can work some CVS savings for sure! Lol. I remember I got the Glamlite Mikala large palette for like $16 and the smaller one for about $7! 😀
Clean beauty is not only about whether the products are good for your skin but also becoming more sustainable, as paraben and mineral oil are not good for eco system. If you don't care about it let it be but some people do care about environment and being sustainable. And for your information paraben and mineral oil that are present in cosmetics can damage and cause irritation to sensitive skin. I am actually glad that brands are becoming more clean and sustainable.
Really enjoying your Vlogmas series, and the intro with your son is especially adorable! Thank you for speaking up about the clean beauty trend with some logic and rationality. One of my all-time favorite beauty products is vaseline and it's gotten a bad rap from the clean beauty bandwagon for being a petroleum by-prod uct. Actually it is very, very safe and a fantastic alternative for people like myself who have multiple chemical sensitivity and allergies! I am 55 and have been using it as an eye makeup remover, lip mask, bedtime moisturizer for eyes, lashes and brows, feet, elbows, knees and hands since I was a teenager. I am waaaaay more concerned about products being cruelty free!
CG has the best mascara! The one in the blue tube. I've tried others but not many because I always go back to CG😃. Have been using it for well over 30 years. I hope they always make it and never ever change the formula.
I appreciate your thoughts on "clean" beauty, especially with a certain big youtuber promoting this mind set. It really is just a marketing ploy and like you said leads to a lot of fear mongering. When I see a brand promoting themselves as "clean", it makes me NOT want to buy their products. Often times I buy "clean" products IN SPITE of that marketing. I really hope this trend passes quickly. Again thank you for speaking about it. I feel like the more people speak out against it, the more people are reached, the quicker it will pass hopefully.
Your eye makeup looks beautiful with your eye/skin tones! So pretty! Also I'm a little jealous of the snow! Since I left CT, I don't see much of it in NC.
I have tried the All Over Dewy tints and I really like them, I’ve used them alone as blush but also as a base for powder blushes and think they last a decent amount of time. I like how skin-like and natural they look, even the brighter colors. After seeing you use them as a lip tint, I will have to try that - usually lip/cheek hybrid work well for one or the other so if this works good for both then I’d keep one in my purse for on the go refresh/touch up. Thanks for your thoughts on “clean” beauty, I feel the same way.
Thank you for this very informative video. Most of my makeup is affordable drugstore and those usually have ingredients like talc and mineral oil and sometimes I'm afraid that I'm doing something harmful to myself when I do my makeup and maybe is not the case.
Not at all! Mineral Oil is one of the safest ingredients...my dermatologist said that just because it comes from oil refining doesn't mean it's dangerous at all. It's been purified and is great for sealing in moisture for dry skin. Some people can get breakouts from it but if you don't, there's no reason to stop using it. :) It's what baby oil is made out of and their skin is the most sensitive!
I agree with your thoughts on clean beauty. Isn't it wonderful that Cover Girl has gone cruelty-free?! Thanks for your application of products--the eyeshadows look really pretty xo
Hallo, Thank you ❤️🎄❤️ for reviewing the CoverGirl line. When I hear clean beauty I do an eye roll and tend to avoid. But I am happy to see CoverGirl do well. I think I will try out the eye palette. Great review and your eye look is beautiful.
The CG quads look nice but as others have said they are pricey. Next time I am in CVS I will see if they are there but not sure I will pounce. I like the cloud imprint in the pans anyway and they do swatch nicely. And since I can only use vegan shadows I appreciate the fact they didn't use carmine, my eyes hate that ingredient. Appreciate the review!
So exciting to see Cover Girl stepping their game up!! I’m dying to try the shadows and that coconut lip gloss!! Thanks for sharing all the fun stuff! I never would know they existed without you since my stores are months behind here in Maine!❤ Hope you’re having, and continue to have, a great holiday season!
cover girl cosmetics were sold in a ship that had been running since the 1920's and had a Hugh chain if large shops in the uk I grew up wearing it the shop suddenly went out of business 10yrs ago and no other shops bothered selling it which for girls my age it's sad our daughters didn't get to use it I'm now after watching you going to look on amazon thankyou for this video jen xx
Thank you for speaking up about the ingredients. There are too many 'clean' makeup brands out there and I feel the same way about it too. Bacteria is not clean at all and I would rather stick with the ingredients that are well known to keep better shelf life.
I love your review of products! You explain things in a very matter-of-fact way and aren’t like other RU-vidr’s who are “OBSESSED” with something the very first time they use it! Lol! I enjoy your videos so much! Thanks for all that you do for us. Wishing you a very Happy Holiday season!
your skin looks flawless 😍 those eyeshadows seem promising, I've never been a fan of the e.l.f. bite size palettes and I've never tried the Wet'nWild ones, and even though these are significantly more expensive maybe the quality justifies the price tag (plus you can get them on sale) the blush also looks pretty but obviously not very long lasting... thnx for sharing and for your take on "clean" beauty products, I agree with you... have an awesome weekend! hugzzz 💜🤗
There's something very appealing about the packaging on those shadows, and while some look quite similar to one another, I'm actually looking forward to trying one or two. Thank you for an excellent (and sensible!) review, and wishing your household a wonderful holiday season. ☺
Another influencer recommended Covergirl Trublend Undercover Concealer as a dupe for Kosas (no idea, would never pay that much lol). And it is a great concealer, with a light hand it covers dark cirlces and doesn't accentuate fine lines (I don't powder, you don't need to). Really nice product at a very reasonable price. Glad to see Covergirl come out with good, affordable products!
I agree 100% about clean beauty! Not all preservatives are carcinogens or dangerous. And yes bacteria is a major concern for clean beauty that brands don’t emphasize enough. You looked beautiful as always and I am now tempted to buy a Cover Girl palette but I have to make sure to use it up in a few months❤❤❤
Food for thought here and it might not be the case - the end product may not be tested on animals but that doesn't mean that the individual ingredients may have originally been tested on animals. It's all in the marketing and what they can get away with. I will definitely check out this new range.
I have watched all your Vlogs this month. I've never done that on anyones channel. I love seeing the morning view out your window. SO BEAUTIFUL! Not sure about CoverGirl except that they are Cruelty Free and that is important to me. Will have to try that Yummy gloss.
I wish the fearmongering would stop. There is so much of it now a days with everything. Companies do jump on that bandwagon too. I do agree those "clean" products go bad really fast. Which just makes me feel like I wasted money since didnt use them up. I did see these palettes on Ulta's website. I passed over them bc in the past I never like cover girl eyeshadows. After seeing how nice the palettes are I will purchase the one that interest me.
I love the clean fresh eyeshadow i have 2 of them. Copper and dreamy pink. And i have 2 of the yummy glosses: you're just jelly & sugar poppy. The glosses take me back to my teenage years when I had flavored glosses
That eyeshadow palette looks stunning on you Jen, it really makes your eye color pop, just gorgeous... - Wow all Covergirl's new products look so promising, really nice, thanks for the video 💕 - I'm in Canada, so I may have to wait for them to become available here, but will certainly try these products out.
I was SO excited when I saw you had a video on these new CG eyeshadow quads! They look amazing! Can't wait until they hit CVS so I can use coupons haha :) 1000% agree on your clean beauty thoughts. Thanks for all you do! Merry Christmas!🎄
Thank you for addressing carmine. There are some other companies that claim to be "clean", "vegan", "safe", etc.....and yet they still contain carmine. That just makes it more confusing for the consumer. I'm severely allergic to carmine and have stopped buying any new eye shadow because it's too hard to trust that the products are truly carmine-free.
I am allergic to Talc so im greatful to some of these "clean brands" for being talc free...i only go to those kind of products if im allergic to an ingredient...but i know its not fool proof there are people allergic to coconut oil and essential oils who should stay away from clean marketed products. The clean moniker is something i take with a grain of salt..i just have super sensitive skin so i have to watch ingredients for that reason...
I use that CG powder in translucent almost daily for midday touch ups. I also have one in my shade. I can’t be without them! Same with the clean lip balm.
The best thing you tried/showed(at first glance), is the eyeshadow for sure. However $14 for those is ridiculous! I will give it 6-12 months, let the “newness” wear off and maybe there will be sales on it then. That’s not worth over $10 IMO, not for what you’re getting. I can get 9-pan pallets from CP on sale(which happens more often than not), for less than that. And as far as clean beauty goes, ughhh huge eye roll 🙄, not buying a ticket to ride on that train-EVER! Thanks Jen for your logical, well thought out explanation on this subject. Beautiful as always 💄❤️💋😍
Thanks Lisa! Ulta actually has them on sale right now but it's Buy 2 get 1 free...so they work out to a little under $10 each. That's assuming you want three of them though!
