Becky grew up as a troubled child; being expelled from school and caught shoplifting, all she may have wanted was the attention of her parents. Staying true to her rebel nature, facial and neck- tattoos became part of her identity. Now she is taking part in a social experiment, seeing with her own eyes, the different ways others would react if she covered up her face- and neck tattoos.

she was rude and scary with her tattoos, and dress like a druggie shouting at people, She also had her hand in her pocket which gave the impression the maybe carrying a weapon. When she got the tattoo covered up, she was more softer spoken and dressed average, hands out and and smiled. i do not believe it had anything to do with her tattoos, but more with her attitude. This was typical media manipulation.

I think it's all about how you approach people and not so much the tattoos. I have three very visible tattoos and people of every age respond well to me but I'm always polite and respectful. I've always worked directly with people and even if they may be ify at first they get over it quickly.

To me the surgeries make her outstandingly beautiful. She has gorgeous lips and cheekbones. But there are the tattoos that botch it all. I'm not generally against tattoos, I even have some on myself, but when it's too much, I don't find them aesthetic anymore. Then there ist no aestetic shape of the tattoo, no recognizable message anymore. They deprive people of their seriousness, unfortunately.

Try working in an aesthetics clinic and tell me anyone would ever use botox to give someone lips like that. questionable science. in the tattooed version it's raining out. maybe people don't want to stop. was it also a different day of the week and time? why is she dressed differently? what else is different? perfume/smells? camera crew visible? location? even if the same variables were used, i wouldn't blindly trust videos like this. they can easily edit to make their point. they can just show what they want, and why wouldn't they? if they went through the trouble of producing the video are they going to throw it away if there i no drama to show? don't get me wrong, i'm not saying whether tattooed people are treated differently or not, i'm just saying this video is not proof.

It’s a street with people coming and going, you can’t talk in an inside voice and expect people to hear you. She did change the second time a slight bit but she was asking all the same questions. She started shouting “I’m asking you for HELP.” If this was a woman who was actually in danger or serious need of help that is rude to walk right past her. She needed help. Yes I agree completely. It's like she started off with a chip on her shoulder, it was obvious and it came across offensive. People pick up on that. If you are expecting a bad reaction your already hostile that's exactly what you will get. I think some people just enjoy believing they are treated differently. Plus people who modify their body that dramatically are usually into some kind of reaction and that's why they do it.

she did mention that she did a lot of things that got her into lots of trouble when she was a kid.Mainly for attention from her parents.So likely as you say she may be hiding behind them because of insecurity that was developed in her childhood.But whether or not if that was the case, people shouldn't ignore her.I feel that if they have given her the slightest bit of attention, she would've feel better and perhaps even change her attitude a little.

I don't get where some viewers see a difference in her attitude. She didn't change her tone of voice, she didn't change her body language. The people changed their reactions tho. And I can see that myself as a tattooed girl who sees other tattooed people asking for help on the streets. To some its '...her rebel nature...' and '...part of her identity.' To others it just screams 'poor life choices'. She's far less aggressive in her behavior and tone when her tattoos are covered, but even if that was not the case, it just indicates that covering your face in tattoos (and have way too many lip treatments) creates an image some people will be less likely to want to readily engage with. Lesson? - Don't have facial or neck tattoos unless you want to repel people (my guess is she did want to - it's part of her 'rebel nature').

Blossom Brooks I’m a tattooist and 90% of people with tattoos are normal people with normal jobs. Here in New Zealand we have a huge amount of people with tattoos and most of it’s not gang related. I refuse to gang/offensive tattoos.
