Always enjoyable. Mom’s flowers are breath taking. I’m excited for the calf expansion hopefully you and your brother will take use along. If your sister agrees would also enjoy watching her cheese making journey come to life. My husband is a Dutchman loves his cheese , milk, yogurt all the dairy. Thx for making excellent dairy.
Loved the vlog Neline….wished you would have filmed you and Max ( I believe is your fiancé ) carrying the goats to their new pen…..should have been a few chuckles with that endeavor. Will be neat to follow the expansion project. Will be much needed. ❤️
Always enjoy the variety of subjects in your video. Ever thought about building a small simple cart that held 3-4 goats pulled by your skidsteer or four wheeler for transporting goats?
Great post Neline! Thanks for explaining the difference between cow milking, and goat milking. Your goat herd is looking wonderful! Your Mum's flowers are gorgeous! Glad there's a plan to handle your calf overflow issues. Was that canola flowering there at the end? It looks great!😊
Since goats breeds are originally from hot dry climates, I imagine that they will be able to handle this heat wave, plus 30 C temperatures. Whereas it may be harder on the cattle. Due I presume correctly?
In the near future , to save pain in your hands , try to buy a milker for the goats , my guess it would be an electric milker , only a suggestion , great videos Neline , keep them coming , stay safe , enjoy !
Please take a moment and explain the business of a dairy farm and limit the explanation to the market needs for milk. I keep reading that folks do not need milk as much as in past years. True? Are the needs seasonal? Do you submit bids to milk purveyors to see who will give you the best price?
@@ADairyonthePrairie Although I recently learned that heifer calves can be born with supernumerary (extra) teats because I saw the vet techs burning some off as part of their horn bud polling service on another channel.
