Casseroles are probably my favorite thing to cook. I love any one dish meal. Some you need a side with it but most are full of everything the body needs to nourish it. gotta try this one. It looks like a real crowd pleaser. The beautiful colors make it look even more delicious. If you start this in a dutch oven you can go from stovetop to oven and right to a trivet for serving. I bet this is great with literally any bread you want from cornbread to garlic toast or even yeast rolls. You can do so much with that wonderful onion, pepper, and ground beef starter.. you're only limited by your imagination after that. You can do anything from Italian to Texas like this one. TY Catherine for another yummy and satisfying meal. You're the best gal!

I just made your one bowl onion rings! What a game changer! No more dipping and breading for me. My husband and I thank you. We loved your video. I will have to try this casserole. I wish I would have had this recipe when we had our 7 kids at home. I have a breakfast casserole I make with tater tots on the bottom. It's delicious and you would never know they were tater tots. It's like hash browns on the bottom.

We had a big portion of the snow that rolled through Northeast Ohio starting Sunday late afternoon all the way through until early this afternoon on Monday. We had a car that got stuck in the snow on our street late last night and couldnt go forward or backward! So yes, Cowboy Casserole is PERFECT food right about now lemme tell ya lol! Catherine I'm maki g the cowboy casserole tonight. I've drained this time in my colander. Used cheddar cheese this time and colby jack on top. Still seems real soupy. I'll let you know how it is when it comes out of the oven. This us such a nice change and like you said flavorful. I should mention I used 1 1/2 lb burger each time.love what you bring to the plate. Your awesome. My kind of cook

What do you consider 'blustery? LOL. I live in Buffalo, NY. We got 1-2 ft of snow overnight. We're tough though and snow melts. Will try this recipe with ground turkey. Every one of your recipes we've tried are excellant.

I really don’t like peppers at all especially green pepper. It overpowers a dish if not cut and cooked properly. I’m Italian so I do use green pepper in my sauces but it is extremely finely chopped and cooked virtually until it disappears. You don’t get the strong green pepper flavor, but it is essential in some recipes to achieve the flavor. I understand lots of people like peppers, my husband adored stuffed green peppers so I cooked what he loved. I do use them on my sausage and peppers but again, they are thoroughly cooked. This makes them bearable to me. Great recitals the pepper. I love black pepper very much. Tater tops, the miracle food. I don’t buy them, but I do love them.

I just prepared the casserole..waiting for the family to get here to put in the oven. Waiting for the granddaughter to put the tater tot’s on top. I’ve made several of your recipes..and they ARE easy and delicious. One suggestion..could you let us know the ingredients and amounts first so I can have everything ready to go..I have to stop and start the video. Thank you for this..
