I love this cowl! It doesn't offer the proper level of protection as a facemask during COVID-19, but it would do the trick during regular flu season in the Fall. I will make one this week and try my hand at the scallop edge--although I have a feeling that crochet work is way beyond my current skill level. Thank you Eliana!

Thanks for the pattern, I made this for my hubby as a Christmas Eve gift because he's taking the dog out in this cold weather and needs one of these for sure. I'm also making a few more especially one for my son which will have a piece of his grandpa's initialed handkerchief.

Love the colors, good idea on neck scarf. But I do not have Adds knitting machine I just got my new Brand: Zeya_Zezirdas 48 needle knitting machine similar with Sentro, I just got my smaller 22 knitting machine….

I like the pattern but the concept of crocheting is 😮. Is there 1) a way to do a simplified (ie, dummy proof) way of doing this that’s a tad slower, 2) pointing me to a video you’ve down that could meet that request, or 3) point me a good resource to learn? Should actually mention there are several of your knit + crochet I really like.

I love this pattern, I have made it twice but it is so tight on me and I am not a big person, what am I doing wrong??? I'm using a G crochet hook, any suggestions?

Did you use the same yarn? I find that some yarns will make a difference. Also the tension might be to tight. It is supposed to be a little snug so that you can wear it on your face. You can also use a larger crochet hook if the edging is to tight.
