Coyo is a Native American crime thriller that tells the story of Justin Coyote, a Native American detective who uses special Native abilities to help solve crimes.
Jon Riggz, a member of the Navajo Nation, was born in Tuba City, Arizona. For a majority of his early life, he resided on the reservation before moving to Phoenix, Arizona where he lived until 2018. After several years of modeling, he turned to fulfill his childhood dream of acting before landing his first break playing a detective in the TV series Briarpatch. In 2023, he not only played the lead role as Justin Coyote in the film COYO but was also casted in the film CLAW as Dasan. With every role, Jon continues to grow and learn the intricacies of his craft so he can continue the representation of indigenous people within the media.
